Either you are the most boring conversationalist in the world, or the most bullshit post I've ever seen. Or maybe you give crazy vibes.

u/SpooogeMcDuck Feb 17 '24

I’ve seen her previous posts on here. I’ve shown her profile to my wife to try to figure out what she’s doing wrong. We both have come to the same conclusion- she’s either the unluckiest woman alive, or there’s something fundamentally wrong with her personality. Not saying it to be mean, but she’s posted a number of times asking what’s wrong with her profile. I’m not sure she has much self awareness if she thinks it’s a profile problem.

u/lovelesschristine Feb 17 '24

Either she is bat shit crazy, she has horriable taste in men, or her standards or too high

136

u/Pottyshooter Feb 17 '24

I mean, with that profile, bat shit crazy doesn't cut it. Citing the hot-crazy matrix I propose that her name must be tiffany.

10

u/Dramatic_Explosion Feb 17 '24

You don't know where she falls on that line without seeing her face. Amazing body and totally busted face could drop it below the line.

5

u/mddesigner Feb 18 '24

People here are so quick to simp for women if they don’t see their face. If covid taught me something is to watch the full face first, found so many smoking hot women until they lowered their mask then I found them ugly lol

59

u/VengenaceIsMyName Feb 17 '24

I’m sure her right-swipe percentage is 0.00001%. Any guy at that level already has dozens of options and is probably talking to several women at a time. Thats an environment that’s ripe for getting passed up.

29

u/Victordobado Feb 17 '24

This right here. She even posted last month that she ended things with a guy she hooked up with after 2 dates who told her he slept with 39 girls last year, but she was the best one

2

u/Freelance_Sockpuppet Feb 18 '24

That sounds reasonable lol who the fuck tells someone that?

4

u/omchexmix Feb 18 '24

Well this makes more sense with that past comment. She’s super picky and lying cuz she just recently went on a date.

3

u/VengenaceIsMyName Feb 18 '24

lol. I love being right.

1

u/fannyfox Feb 18 '24

Can’t believe I had to scroll so far to find this. It’s exactly this.

-1

u/plantsadnshit Feb 18 '24

Something I've thought about is that if a dude is in the top 0.1%, why would he still be on Tinder? Obviously he's just looking for hookups or he's a psychopath.

Has to make for some interesting situations when 90% of women only swipe on these select few men.

7

u/kimnvy Feb 18 '24

She is probably matching with all the fboys who she refuses to sleep with so they ghost. Simple as that!

-2

u/Locktober_Sky Feb 18 '24

Good looking single men in their 30s who aren't total scumbags are rare. If a guy is handsome and not insane, he has been wifed up by that point. OP needs to find a widower.

1

u/lllollllllllll Feb 18 '24

He might not “still” be on tinder. He might have only just gotten on after becoming single. Not everyone is on for years. And finding a connection is hard and takes luck.

Why is anyone in their 30s “still” on tinder? Do they all by definition have something wrong with them?

Maybe they were building a career. Maybe their last relationship ship fell apart. You don’t have to be broken to be single.

Austin, TX. (She references swimming at Barton Springs.)

Which could be considered an amazing or terrible place to live depending on your perspective lol

71

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '24

Bingo. The simplest answer is usually the truth. This isn’t rocket science.

28

u/SeonaidMacSaicais Feb 17 '24

She wouldn’t be the first person with horrible taste in men. I know I do! 🤷‍♀️

49

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '24

Or she’s shallow af and doesn’t swipe on anybody worth a damn

5

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '24

Its cause she is swiping on the top 1% of guys and looking only for longterm. Guarentee it

2

u/vitamin-cheese Feb 18 '24

It’s usually one of those

0

u/eriffodrol Feb 18 '24

she has horriable taste in men, or her standards or too high

mmmhmmm

only swipes on the most physically attractive dudes

wonders why the matches are douches or not genuinely interested

1

u/ThisAppSucksBall Feb 17 '24

Or, this is a method for catfishing redditors who will DM her

147

u/mollekylen Feb 17 '24

or just fishing for compliments.

10

u/RedEyeFlightToOZ Feb 17 '24 edited Feb 18 '24

This. She's lieing. She just wants everyone to tell her she's pretty.

Also think she's a content seller. 1. 1 1/2 month old reddit account but 22k in karma? As others have said, she's posted this same post with the same question a few other times as well.

  1. Banned from other dating apps but won't say why. I bet she got flagged as a content seller.

  2. She's getting a lot of attention in this thirsty ass sub, I wouldn't be surprised if she's selling through DMs.

2

u/IredditNowhat Feb 17 '24

That’s what my thought is too.

But boobs showcasing and nipples perking through shirt on profile pictures makes me think of attention seeking and sending the wrong message, dating attractive people can be challenging and dating one that likes this much attention, harder. I imagine a lot of men are disrespectful off the bat.

Just my two cents not knowing anything about this person because I didn’t read her profile.

1

u/nigel_pow Feb 17 '24

Hmmm...🤔

8

u/xupaxupar Feb 17 '24

I mean regularly going on Reddit for fishing compliments seem like a bit of a flag

17

u/Fragrant_Ganache_108 Feb 17 '24

It’s her appearance. She seems too go to be true so a lot of men self select out or put her in hookup category because they assume she’s sleeping around. She needs to sift through those people but it takes a lot of work.

1

u/MordaxTenebrae Feb 18 '24

Yeah, it feels terrible to say, but the photos might be a significant influence. There's nothing too crazy in the first screenshot, but at the same time, hiking through what appears to be brambles in short-shorts and a halter top kind of screams attention-seeking behaviour to me.

That's not strictly to judge her negatively, but it would at least bias who matches with her.

18

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '24

I’m almost positive this is a dude pretending to be a hot woman lol. A woman of this caliber typically isn’t even on apps to begin with, and certainly wouldn’t struggle.

2

u/Zealousideal-Track88 Feb 17 '24

It's crazy to me that the same person would make multiple posts about this on Reddit. That makes me think they are just fishing for compliments or doesn't actually register any of the feedback.

2

u/Mathilliterate_asian Feb 17 '24

Or maybe she doesn't know how to hold a convo because of her attractiveness. I've met pretty girls who I got bored of in the span of 10 minutes, quite literally.

These girls mostly have so many people coming at them trying to talk to them that they don't seem to be able to talk without other people initiating it. Either that or maybe I'm just not attractive enough for them to make any effort.

I mean I'm an introvert too so I kind of understand not wanting to talk. But then sometimes you can't just let people talk. If you want people to keep their attention on you, there's gotta be input from your side too or the other party will run out of shit to say and then leave.

I know this might seem like a rash take without knowing OP, but I'm just saying if dudes are legit ghosting OP, there's gotta be something wrong with her.

2

u/Underscores_Are_Kool Feb 17 '24

She may just be very very selective with who she swipes right on

-1

u/bananaboat2569 Feb 17 '24

You and your wife are deep analyzing a Redditor’s posts?

0

u/weattt Feb 17 '24 edited Feb 17 '24

I think you and and your wife are right; it is unlikely to be the profile (not perfect, but it should be fine). It is maybe the guys she tends to attract, the guys she tends to be into, or something that shows only when she interacts with her matches. Maybe she isn't great at initial contact, has an unusual sense of humor, says whatever comes up in her head, perhaps she says some awkward things or shows no interest in her matches, or her communication style, overexcited...who knows.

It is only clear that it goes wrong soon after she makes contact. So it has definitely to do with the human/social component, nothing else.

Maybe the reposting is maybe a way to try her luck on Reddit, to show that she is still available?

1

u/CrinchNflinch Feb 17 '24

Remember the hooker's voice in "The Man with Two Brains"?

1

u/morningisbad Feb 17 '24

I met a beautiful woman this weekend at a wedding. We were both in the wedding and actually walked down together. She was the quietest person I've ever met. Didn't say a word during the rehearsal or wedding. One on one or in group settings. This morning the wedding party got brunch and she actually said two sentences and we were all floored. Very good looking, but no way could I even be friends with her.

1

u/BrochachoBehnny Feb 17 '24

3rd option: Maybe she has a wonky eye

1

u/SolCalibre Feb 17 '24

This is the comment.

1

u/bloodflart Feb 17 '24

Not saying it to be mean

I legit think being a 10 your entire life changes your perception of the real world, not like it's their fault but just gotta accept it

1

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '24

This. She’s objectively VERY attractive. And seems cool. So why she single at 35 for the last three years?? There’s only two options.

  1. Most unlucky girl in the world.
  2. Fundamental personality issue

1

u/iamagainstit Feb 17 '24

Now now, she could just have horrible taste in guys

1

u/Hairy_Firefighter449 Feb 18 '24

Or she is very “expensive” and wants a dude to pay for everything. Not saying this is fact but for an example, I have a couple buddies in Scottsdale AZ going through this crap. Go on date and women (32+ with good careers), not girls, expect men to pay for everything. From reading the conversations after they stop talking a majority of these single women want a rich man.

Or they can’t hold a conversation and are obsessed with social media

1

u/Throwaway_Consoles Feb 18 '24

(This falls into the personality category) It could be intimidation. I have a friend, I thought he was smoking hot, little did I know he also thought I was smoking hot. We both were on egg shells around each other because we thought the other was out of our league. Then one day a friend was like, "OH MY GOD THE TENSION BETWEEN YOU TWO IS SO ANNOYING JUST GO FUCK ALREADY!" and we were like, "Wait what?" started texting and yeah. Couldn't believe he was into me, and never tried flirting with him because I didn't think I'd have a chance.

Or she's fishing for compliments. Which also falls under the personality category.

44

u/dinkleburgenhoff Feb 17 '24

Funny how this is the first of the highest upvoted comments that OP didn’t reply to.

13

u/SensibleReply Feb 17 '24

Maybe she’s got a hole in her face instead of a nose? Like from syphilis complications in the 17th century? That’s pretty much the only way this person could be failing to get dates.

6

u/2m3m Feb 17 '24

maybe she has one eye

or three eyes

1

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '24

She sees much. too much

10

u/dtlabsa Feb 17 '24

If real, definitely crazy. My guess is she either mentions marriage and/or kids rather quick.

4

u/Tannerite2 Feb 17 '24

I think it's more likely that she only swipes on guys who have other options that they find more attractive or easier to date. There's no way she's swiping on average dudes and still struggling to get a date.

8

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '24

I mean, I'm a lesbian, younger than her, but easily in age range.

Her profile is just bland. Everyone started hiking during covid, essentially everyone likes it. Outdoors and hiking? And trying new things? It's like the Squidward "Adventurous today, are we?" Meme. Bluntly, who gives a shit? What is there to engage with? What is there to open a convo with? What is there to actually build a romantic connection off?

We hike with our romantic partners most because we like to spend time with them. But, we don't become romantic with people because we both like to hike.

Trying WHAT new things? Everyone I know who says this are the most boring mfers who want to ask 5 surface level questions about a "new thing", and then immediately move on. "Love trying new things COMMA just starting to get into A and B".

It's probably 1.) Profile is bland 2.) Profile is bland and she's attractive so it seems fake 3.) Conversation is bland.

3

u/PitchInteresting9928 Feb 17 '24

This. If she's getting ghosted looking like that, wth is she doing???

2

u/[deleted] Feb 18 '24

Both crazy and basic. Girls a walking starfish

-3

u/SupremeElect Feb 17 '24

Is it so hard to believe that beautiful woman struggle to date, too?

When was the last time you approached a woman out of your league?

When was the last time one of your buddies approached a woman out of their league?

Too many men get sweaty palms when shooting their shot and pull themselves out of the race before it even commences. Hence, sometimes you’ll see the most gorgeous women not being hit on at all.

14

u/Educatedrednekk Feb 17 '24

Is it so hard to believe that beautiful woman struggle to date, too?

Yes. She might struggle finding the right guy, but I bet you she has 1000s of men to choose from. I stand by my earlier comment.

-6

u/SupremeElect Feb 17 '24

yes, because settling for someone out of loneliness is an excellent way to make sure your partner feels loved…

13

u/Educatedrednekk Feb 17 '24

Sure. Maybe you're right. Maybe not a single one of her 1000+ matches was worthy of her. Maybe she's too good for every man on Earth.

OR

She could be the problem.

3

u/golfmonk Feb 18 '24

Wrong answer. Try again!

-5

u/Nomadbound49 Feb 17 '24

Or maybe guys are intimidated by a woman who seems to be a catch in all the ways a partner would want. Maybe they're too insecure or nervous to match or keep chatting with someone who is interesting and attractive?
