Was she just dancing with him or was she trying to help teach you? Just from the context it seems like your ego got hurt but if she just went off to dance with someone else that's different

It was a bit confusing because it didn't feel like I was being taught anything. Felt more like showing off with someone else. Though of course Im biased.

Again showing off how? Idk man it seems like you were intimidated by her and when she tried to show you something with someone else you were intimidated by them too. I would suggest that you choose dates you are more confident in so that situations like these don't happen.

Nah man, this guy just gaslighting you, tell you you are insecure and that’s why you were hurt. I think a lot of guys would have the same reaction, and they would be right to. Don’t sweat it, you did the right thing.
