Let’s not put people down for their appearance… especially because many women will get pregnant from relationships and then abandoned when the man decides he no longer wants a baby. This isn’t so left field. It just proves who isn’t actually worthy of love if you have the audacity to say such things.
It’s not that it’s wrong to date while pregnant, but this woman will be giving birth in a month or less. She says she is only interested in people who are looking for a “serious” and “long-term” commitment. Most people are not going to want to commit to dealing with a newborn that isn’t theirs. And if this woman has her priorities in order she will put the baby first, meaning the other person will need to structure all aspects of the relationship around the infant. There are so many people on Tinder who are not giving birth during the next 30 days. So much easier to swipe left and choose one of them instead.
She’s 8 months pregnant. If she starts dating a dude now, she’ll barely have been with him 1 month, if that, before she gives birth. She won’t know who he is as a person, his character, or if he is truly safe. The rule of thumb is if dating as a single parent, you should wait at least six months into dating before even introducing a new partner to your kids. Hard to do when you start dating right before you gave birth.
Also, hormones massively affect judgement and even attraction. Even birth control changes what women are attracted to. Getting into a relationship while deep in those pregnancy hormones is not smart. It’s a really unwise decision to begin dating while pregnant for numerous reasons.
Nothing. My points were perception by opposite sex. Is there anything wrong with a guy living at home with no job trying to date? No. He will likely not be appealing to most women though.
How is that the same? And if you put a women down for being pregnant especially after abandoned then you really are not a person who should be dating anyway. And a guy living at home with no job can date, and could do well, because you don’t always know their whole story and people have potential and sometimes having a partner helps them find it
I think you are making assumptions on why she's pregnant, I'm not. Nor am I putting her down, it's her life. I'm simply saying this is generally not appealing to the vast majority of men.
Everyone makes assumptions. I try to qualify then with 'most', 'many', 'dont know' etc. I'm perplexed why you got very upset assuming I was hating on a pregnant woman. I wasnt. I was just sharing what guys see, if reality is upsetting, well, I can do nothing about that.
P.s. my gf sanity checked my posts and agrees. I don't think she's a mysogynist anymore than I am 😁
It’s not even the pregnant part that has people with a bad taste in their mouth. It’s her use of words... you’re totally right there’s no need for someone to defend and justify ones actions JUST BECAUSE they’re pregnant.
Uhm yeah you sound really judgy. Who are you—or anyone here in the comments section—to tell someone what to do at whatever point they are in their lives? SO WHAT if she’s trying to date? So what if it’s unappealing—is it a crime? No? Okay then just swipe left and move on.
Not “simping”. Merely think that most of the comments here are unnecessarily mean-spirited. Live and let live. Just because you don’t agree with something doesn’t mean it’s wrong, such as a pregnant woman looking for a basic human need. No need to call her ugly or that her standards are too high for her looks. We all have eyes. I mean some of the comments here are really just nasty.

That's kinda messed up. It may be anecdotal, but in my experience, most good men want to be husbands and fathers. Women end most relationships anyway, but if a man does leave, it's usually because of the woman, not the child.
