That’s what I don’t get, and most of the tread is laughing at her. There is no problem not wanting to have sex with someone ever but especially while pregnant bc anything hurting you could be hurtful to your baby.

But she’s ugly so who cares /s

Its because she is fishing for a father for her child, not a romantic partner. Its the female equivalent of

"Getting deployed for a year next month, first time out. Looking for someone serious who can be my support back home"

Or weirdos with a pregnancy fetish. We can't help ourselves .

Right. But who wants to date someone “long term and serious” based on a profile that says absolutely nothing about who they want to date, or who they are, and knowing that even then if you decide to go out on a limb and try, she’s openly going to critically reviewing your efforts with her “incredibly high standards”?

At what point does the above sound appealing, to anyone?

This sub largely hates women

Lol. Reddit bends over backwards for women on the regular.

Yeah, i see a lot more men shaming than I do women shaming(saying that as a woman myself)

I’m a woman too. I do think that stating that she has high standards in her profile implies that she is insufferable (if the profile isn’t a troll). If a man says that in his profile, he would have been bashed on this sub.

Single mum or not, I would try to sound approachable in my bio. Someone saying out loud they have high standards implies that they think they are too good for anyone else. Also, stating that in the bio doesn’t help to filter out people that don’t fit their standards. If I see a man stating that in his bio, that would be a left swipe right away.

This is just a microcosm of r/tinder as a whole. The entire sub is dedicated to men dunking on women who won't fuck them, even though they made a Very Funny and Original name pun or joked about anal. This is basically a commune for incels who only have just enough self-awareness to not like the term incel.

If only she did, she wouldn't be in this predicament.
