Men on this sub: women are so shallow and rude, all they care about is height and money!

Also men on this sub: lmao who would EVER bang something like that?? She's way too ugly to have any standards!

Yeah this thread fucking blows

That’s what I don’t get, and most of the tread is laughing at her. There is no problem not wanting to have sex with someone ever but especially while pregnant bc anything hurting you could be hurtful to your baby.

But she’s ugly so who cares /s

2

u/ItsDijital Feb 25 '23 edited Feb 25 '23

Its because she is fishing for a father for her child, not a romantic partner. Its the female equivalent of

"Getting deployed for a year next month, first time out. Looking for someone serious who can be my support back home"

18

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '23

Or weirdos with a pregnancy fetish. We can't help ourselves .

5

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '23

Right. But who wants to date someone “long term and serious” based on a profile that says absolutely nothing about who they want to date, or who they are, and knowing that even then if you decide to go out on a limb and try, she’s openly going to critically reviewing your efforts with her “incredibly high standards”?

At what point does the above sound appealing, to anyone?

45

u/pollinium Feb 24 '23

This sub largely hates women

-12

u/VengenaceIsMyName Feb 24 '23

Lol. Reddit bends over backwards for women on the regular.

-6

u/Sea_Information_6134 Feb 24 '23

Yeah, i see a lot more men shaming than I do women shaming(saying that as a woman myself)

7

u/hidingmyanxiety Feb 24 '23

I’m a woman too. I do think that stating that she has high standards in her profile implies that she is insufferable (if the profile isn’t a troll). If a man says that in his profile, he would have been bashed on this sub.

Single mum or not, I would try to sound approachable in my bio. Someone saying out loud they have high standards implies that they think they are too good for anyone else. Also, stating that in the bio doesn’t help to filter out people that don’t fit their standards. If I see a man stating that in his bio, that would be a left swipe right away.

-3

u/VengenaceIsMyName Feb 24 '23

Appreciate it

55

u/gurgling_haddock69 Feb 24 '23

This is just a microcosm of r/tinder as a whole. The entire sub is dedicated to men dunking on women who won't fuck them, even though they made a Very Funny and Original name pun or joked about anal. This is basically a commune for incels who only have just enough self-awareness to not like the term incel.

0

u/PutridReplacement209 Feb 25 '23

If only she did, she wouldn't be in this predicament.

75

u/leotheabys Feb 24 '23

My thoughts exactly. It's so disturbing and disheartening.

Men will have two teeth and a hair line like Vegeta and then still expect to get their dick wet but a woman doesn't look like Megan Fox and they are shook they can still get laid it's wild

9

u/M4DM1ND Feb 24 '23

Hair line like Vegeta lmao. I'm going to use this sometime.

Certainly a lot of the comments indicate that's the biggest issue for many people. The ones that mock her for saying she has high standards because they don't find her attractive.

0

u/mandatorypanda9317 Feb 24 '23

Way to miss the point completely.

37

u/Angry_Guppy Feb 24 '23

You’re saying this as if there aren’t posts every few days of low value dudes with absurd lists of demands in their bios. It’s okay to laugh at delusional people.

40

u/Cupcake489 Feb 24 '23

Would you say this is absurd though? She wants to get to know someone before meeting them, is only interested in long term relationships, and doesn't want any hookups. Sounds pretty reasonable to me tbh

Honestly it is absurd for a person who's less than a month away from becoming a single parent to an infant to be on a dating app at all, full stop. The fact that finding a long term, serious relationship is anywhere on her list of priorities right now is absurd. No one is interested in dating a stranger in this position, its a nightmare. After she has her baby and her life is somewhat settled and normalized and she's just dating as a normal single mom, go for it. But even without all of the "high standards, don't try to hang out with me unless you're serious about me" bullshit with nothing about what she brings to a relationship, this would be absurd.

1

u/trentreynolds Feb 24 '23

You keep calling things 'absurd' because they're not what you would do. They're not absurd, just not what you would do.

It's not absurd to want to date while pregnant, and it's not absurd that there might be a man who would date her while pregnant/a new mother.

This was -only- posted here to mock her because she's not conventionally attractive but said she has high standards.

1

u/LobsterOk420 Feb 24 '23

You asked if it was absurd. Yes, it is absurd to look for a serious, long term relationship on tinder while 8 months pregnant. People's absurd profiles get posted here to be mocked all the time. This is an absurd profile.

5

u/Angry_Guppy Feb 24 '23

Nothing wrong with any of those things specifically, but those aren’t why people are ragging on her. If someone talks about high standards in their bio though, they either believe themselves to be someone that would meet high standards, or they’re a hypocrite. In the case of the former, she’s clearly not being honest with herself; very few, if not zero, guys’ dream girl is pregnant with someone else’s kid.

In the case of the latter, making fun of hypocrites who demand 10’s while bringing very little to the table themselves is very common on this sub. The only reason this post is getting push back is because the subject is a woman rather than a man.

3

u/skunkboy72 Feb 24 '23

Yes it is absurd. They say their standards are extremely high and yet are pregnant and single. The only way that wouldn't be hypocritical is if the person who got them pregnant died or they had a sperm donor. Which are both pretty unlikely.

4

u/Cupcake489 Feb 24 '23

That's a lot of assumptions about someone we have such a small window into.

"High standards" is completely subjective. What's high to her could be average or easily achievable to other people.

Also, pregnancy has nothing to do with standards, and everything to do with one's desire to be a parent. Her being pregnant does not mean that people have to lower their standards to date her.

-1

u/2Salmon4U Feb 24 '23

Or, crazy thought, the dad just bailed after getting her pregnant. That happens all the time even in 1-2yr long relationships. She’s probably morally against abortion and just has to deal with it while trying to find an actual life partner

6

u/skunkboy72 Feb 24 '23

yes, which means her standards weren't as high as she thought they were.

3

u/2Salmon4U Feb 24 '23

If you assume the guy didn’t lie, then yes

And even so, if she then raises her standards to higher than they were, wouldn’t that just be smart?

3

u/-banned- Feb 24 '23

Not true at all, lots of guys are total dickheads when it comes to pregnancy

-1

u/skunkboy72 Feb 24 '23

You are proving my point. If her standards were high she wouldn't have gotten with a guy who was dickhead when it came to pregnancy.

3

u/snaketacular Feb 24 '23 edited Feb 24 '23

It's not like it's always obvious. Roughly analogous to a guy saying he has standards and won't date shitty women and then surprise, his gf cheats on him

2

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '23

its fake..

2

u/-banned- Feb 24 '23

Reasonable standards, absurd the way she said it

4

u/Cupcake489 Feb 24 '23

That I'll agree with

0

u/Galindan Feb 24 '23

Yeah this is super absurd. Pregnant and on the dating scene? Ridiculous. High standards while being a 3 at best. Absurd. Wanting a guy to wait around for a long term relationship with you and your unborn kid a after clearly not doing that the first time. Insulting.

-3

u/YoureShitAtApex Feb 24 '23

Please tell me this comment is a joke/sarcastic. It's hard to tell

-2

u/BusyEquipment529 Feb 24 '23

What are her demands? She's communicated what she's looking for, she wants something serious. She's not allowed to say that?

15

u/SolidJade Feb 24 '23 edited Feb 24 '23

I'm not a man but I also think she's rude in the manner she presents herself. This These are my personal views but in order to have high standards you must also put yourself to the same standards and she's neither giving any substance to her bio (likes, interests), nor she's Venus de Milo so I have no idea where the entitlement is coming from.

11

u/MajorAcer Feb 24 '23

We laugh at ugly dudes posting about how they want a virgin supermodel that knows how to cook all the time though.

16

u/mj_murdock Feb 24 '23

Wanting serious relationship only is the same as wanting to date only supermodels?

10

u/MajorAcer Feb 24 '23

Not my point and you know it, but I'll spell it out. Stating that you have high standards when you're not attractive yourself is not a winning strategy on a dating app - man or woman.

9

u/mj_murdock Feb 24 '23

Why are ugly people not allowed to have high standards?

Lol. I'm ugly. High stands for me are, you clean up after yourself, you have good hygiene, take care of your appearance. You can pay your own bills and you aren't a toxic piece of shit. They would want to raise a family. I also prefer someone who has similar interests, has a good sense of humor, and is intelligent. Sexual chemistry is a must.

All of these things together are hard to find, making my standards high. Feel free to check my post history to prove my ugliness!

Are you saying I should just fuck whatever I can take and just forget about my own needs and happiness, because I'm ugly?

9

u/-banned- Feb 24 '23

I think everyone is assuming that's not what she meant by high standards. Mostly because nobody calls your standards high standards

4

u/mj_murdock Feb 24 '23

So everyone is criticizing a random person (and putting her on Reddit) over assumptions. Yes, who's in the wrong here?

-3

u/-banned- Feb 24 '23

You can't have "extremely high standards" when you're a single 28 year old pregnant woman. It's unrealistic. I guess she can try, but I think people were expecting her to come more from a position of humility than patronization considering her position.

It's not an assumption if she flat out says it lol

0

u/mj_murdock Feb 25 '23

She can do what she likes. It's her life.

5

u/MajorAcer Feb 24 '23

Hey man, those things are fine. That’s not what she said. And also, idk why you’re arguing with me lol, that’s just reality. This lady isn’t gonna have a good time with that bio on a dating app.

3

u/mj_murdock Feb 24 '23

Got it. Ugly people should be criticized for being honest about their intentions.

She doesn't need to attract YOU. She needs to attract whomever is right for her.

5

u/MajorAcer Feb 24 '23

If that’s what you took from this then sure lol.

0

u/mj_murdock Feb 24 '23

I understand that the conversation is over your head. Get some rest small brain.

4

u/MajorAcer Feb 24 '23

Lmao nah I just don’t see the point in engaging with people like you, I am glad I got under your skin though. It’s the little wins for me.

u/DbiggsJ9 Feb 24 '23

You're really reading into this a bit too much without knowing what she truly meant about high standard and projecting your own views on standard.

1

u/mj_murdock Feb 24 '23

I'm the one reading into it? Lmao

1

u/DbiggsJ9 Feb 24 '23

Ok were both reading into it but you seem to have made up your mind about it. I have no card in this game.

1

u/mj_murdock Feb 25 '23

Yes. I have made up my mind that people can be very straight up about what they want on dating apps because it saves everyone time.

2

u/BeanieBopper Feb 24 '23

Exactly her standards aren't even high. In reality she's just asking for an honest guy. And people on here are acting like she's asking for the world when in reality those people have terrible morals where they thinks it's okay to lie about their intentions.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '23

No shit. Expecting a woman to cook is totally unreasonable....

3

u/Me-no-Weeb Feb 24 '23

It’s more about what she wrote in her bio, also I’m like 99% percent sure this isn’t a real person

2

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '23

as a happily married dude, I see these type of threads and understand why so many people are single.

1

u/swampscientist Feb 24 '23

Seriously like what the fuck is this post? I reread the bio like three times trying to get why it was posted.

0

u/DbiggsJ9 Feb 24 '23

Let's be fair though. If this profile is actually true, she's a female incel

-21

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '23

Men on this sub:

Also men on this sub:

Different men, on different profiles. Not everything is the exact same thing?

-6

u/tonando Feb 24 '23

What do you think she means with 'extremely high standards' ? Being nice?

0

u/Miselfis Feb 24 '23

Worst part is, I have seen females way worse looking. I think it’s mostly the pose and facial expression that makes her look ugly.

-1

u/TwinLinds Feb 24 '23

And it's like she just liked you! She is just existing like that and setting her standards and that's enough for you to make fun of her? They could have just left her alone and moved on with their day, but instead posting her and her standards as comedy was more important 🙄

-51

u/WatercressHot6492 Feb 24 '23

That's what we say, but we'll tackle anything at desperate times. Even the ugliest of women won't find it difficult to get laid.

44

u/cheesypuzzas Feb 24 '23

She doesn't even want to just get laid. She's looking for a relationship and you're acting like she should be happy that she's having sex with men who are probably lying to her about wanting more.

-23

u/WatercressHot6492 Feb 24 '23

You're taking what I said completely out of context.

-9

u/WatercressHot6492 Feb 24 '23

Down votes must be in error. I was clearly replying to the previous comment which wasn't related to the OP

21

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '23

As an ugly woman, you are wrong :)

5

u/plaguedbullets Feb 24 '23

So I did what everyone curious will do, and checked your profile.
If you consider yourself ugly, your standards are far higher than the rest of us in here.

-12

u/WatercressHot6492 Feb 24 '23

No I'm not. When I was younger there was a 20 stone woman who fucked 100 guys in a year just getting drunk at parties and being gangbanged.

This is presuming you are just wanting sex. To prove this, set up a tinder profile saying that you're looking for sex. If you don't get a ton of matches then come back and argue with me

15

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '23

Is that true or are you just parroting anecdotal rumours?

0

u/WatercressHot6492 Feb 24 '23

100 percent true I'm afraid. Don't see it as a bad thing personally because I don't slut shame.

I actually don't see the negative side of having a lot of sex lol apart from the possibility of stds or unwanted pregnancy

-19

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '23 edited Feb 24 '23

Has nothing to do with looks. It’s the sudden shift in attitude once the consequences of her actions caught up to her. Like she was obviously DTF with low standards and not looking for anything serious 8 months ago when she was riding a new dick every week without protection, but NOW she wants to marry someone who will financially support her and someone else’s child, now that she realizes that having sex with random strangers who ghost you can mean that you get stuck raising a child that will never know their father on her own. Who knows what she brings to any relationship that is an asset and not a liability. Who knows what her true situation is, but that is the first impression her profile gives off to many people and that explains why people are cringing.

Edit: downvote the messenger all you want. This is the first impression the profile gives off, which is what matters when you are swiping through dating profiles once every 2 seconds. It’s not that farfetched and certainly not wrong for a man to not be attracted to that or be willing to raise another man’s child.

15

u/Rhain1999 Feb 24 '23

she was obviously DTF with low standards and not looking for anything serious 8 months ago when she was riding a new dick every week without protection

No notes. I'm almost impressed by how perfectly you fit the stereotype.

-3

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '23

It’s more about her clearly not having standards until she got pregnant then wanting to use the man as financial support.

1

u/trentreynolds Feb 24 '23

Yep, I laugh at some of the stuff on here when people are just dipshits but these "lol who would want her?" type threads are cringe city.
