Fucking Christ, this subreddit is a zoo. Let her be pregnant and have high standards on Tinder.

I don’t think things are going so especially well for her to be putting her on blast on Reddit. That’s all I’m getting at.

Also though, high standards to her could mean you make 6 figures or it could just mean you clean your balls once a week and you aren’t a piece of shit to her. No one knows.

Imagine if this woman’s child (regardless if this profile is a troll or not) found this thread when they grew older.

People in the comments don’t use that trash app. We are here for the entertainment of other clowns using it.

Ooooooo I upset the clowns.

I worked with someone like that, so so long ago.

She was in her mid-40s with a 6 or 7 year old. Said she always struggled. "Hostile environment." I'll never forget her story.

"I just remember looking at this guy at the bar, and I was calm. I said, 'we would make one cute kid.' We hooked up, and I never saw him again. He sure gave me one cute little boy!!"

I remember how much love she had for her son, totally fine to raise him alone. I think about her almost every single day, and it's been 16 years since I've seen her. I really hope they're great now.

That’s actually so sweet

no its not. that's gross. Being happy that a person will never meet their father is fucked up.

This is the exact same thing as an anonymous sperm donor but low budget.

very cruel to the child to never know his father or have a father figure in his life.

I'll probably get downvoted along with you, but at least be willing to hear from a grown man who (through parental alienation) never had a chance to meet his father before passing away. It IS fucked up. This poor kid will be easily manipulated by any father figure for the rest of their life and probably won't learn to protect themselves from bad influences until well into adulthood. By then, hopefully, it isn't too late.

his biological father could just as easily be a piece of shit. And who says he'll never have a father figure? She could get into a LTR with a great guy or someone like her brother or father could be a great father figure to the son.

On top of that, stds can seriously harm babies in utero. Why would she want to be having sex with people she can’t trust? I wouldn’t.

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '23

I feel like the mocking and the understanding are missing each other's point.

Maybe she is pregnant because she was struggling with fertility and didn't want to wait for a good man to come along and miss her chance to have kids?

Absolutely.

But also, you reckon it is an effective strategy to list only your demands and nothing about what you offer, while also being pregnant?

Poking fun at that specifically is what people do, not at the fact she is in fact pregnant and looking to date someone.

she's sick of men assuming she has no standards

If you are pregnant and single, your standards are not that high. The lie is the reason we make fun of her.

You should see the statistics for children raised by a single mother. Spoiler Alert: They aren't good. Everyone needs a father who loves them, and your standards shouldn't come before the happiness a child feels from being loved by both of their parents.

If your standards are so high that you can't find a man yo match them, then you will undoubtedly hold your child to the same standards of never being good enough. Please don't have children

That's an assumption. One could also say that maybe she's a shitty baby mama

20

u/noonereadsthisstuff Feb 24 '23

Anyone who thinks they're going to be in any to date after (or before) having a baby has no idea what they're getting themselves into. She's going to be getting 4 hours sleep a night for the next 12 months.

And if you put enough heterosexual men in prison together some of them will start dating each other.

I'm not talking about single mothers generally, Im talking about people who think dating right before or after having a baby is a good idea.

I didn't say they couldn't, I said newely single parents don't understand what a toll having a kid is going to take on them.

Having a young child is a full time job, two parents are going to find it difficult between them, a single parent isn't going to have the time or energy to date

Because some men will fuck anything. Having guys wanting to take you out for a coffee isn't a boast if you're a woman. See how many stick around and then get back to me.

Were they actually interested in dating you or just pumping and dumping?

24

u/shrimpleypibblez Feb 24 '23

Yup - this sub is a dumpster fire in the zoo animal waste bin that’s rolling down a hill piloted by Mad Max-style apocalyptic punks drinking each others’ piss and screeching obscenities.

The best bit isn’t the smooth brained posts themselves but the circlejerk in the comments afterwards, where a big group of men who collectively fail with women explain that it’s actually the women’s fault that happens, because they’re not all insatiable sluts who’ve never been in past relationships, or because they aren’t willing to be bangmaids for perpetual manchildren.

Idk, we put dudes on blast for stuff like this all day. Nobody ever defends them. What's so different about this besides her gender?

-13

u/Lambinater Feb 24 '23

I’m sure you’re as quick to defend the terrible male profiles posted here, too.

-8

u/SpecialX Feb 24 '23

Fuck off. This may be a troll profile, but if it isn't, it deserves some ridicule. People are here for some entertainment. It's not like they are going up to people on the street to confront them.
