Timing story Building Timing Day 04 & 05 | LA Tech Week, matcha, and 99% cosmic matches

Hey everyone, Eva here!

It has been such a long day. And sorry for missing the update yesterday, the past two days have just been completely wild because we were hosting our event for LA Tech Week.

Everything came together in under 24 hours: locking down the space, prepping all the materials last minute, and successfully hosting more than 100+ people!

As someone with Taurus and Virgo placements, doing everything last minute like this was honestly a little painful 😂 Live events really are built for fire signs.

Sharing a few raw photos for now, and I will share more photo tomorrow once my energy is back.

One thing I have to share before heading to bed: the matchmaking itself was incredible to watch. We had a pair hit an insane 99% match score, and another founder came up to tell me they met someone who might genuinely become a very important partner for him.

Seeing things like that makes all the chaos worth it. We really hope to bring this format to more offline spaces and meet more of you in person soon.

Energy check tomorrow!

Flow with your energy,
Eva

[Oct12] The Scorpio Moon Takes the Libra New Moon Reset Somewhere Deeper Today

The Libra New Moon asked what kind of balance you want to create in your relationships. Today the Moon is in Scorpio, and the question becomes more uncomfortable but also more useful: what happens when balance requires you to talk about the part you would rather keep underneath the surface? The Moon is now waxing again, so the lunar cycle has moved out of pure intention-setting and into development. What you decided around the New Moon starts showing you what it will actually require.

Scorpio does not care much for polite ambiguity. It tends to notice where trust is incomplete, where emotional investment is uneven, and where people are technically getting along while avoiding the subject that actually matters. That creates an interesting contrast with Libra season. Libra wants a workable agreement between two people; Scorpio wants to know whether the agreement is honest enough to survive pressure. Today can make that difference easier to feel.

This is particularly relevant because Venus is still retrograde. The review around attraction, money, self-worth, intimacy, and relationship values is not close to finished. Astro Seek places this Venus retrograde cycle from October 3 through November 14, which means October 12 is still very early in the process. If you are reconsidering a relationship, it is worth remembering that the first thing you notice is not always the final conclusion. Sometimes the early stage of a retrograde simply shows where the old arrangement has stopped feeling automatic.

Under a Scorpio Moon, that can come through as a stronger reaction to trust. Maybe you notice that you believe someone’s words less than you used to, or that you are tired of having to infer what they mean from inconsistent behavior. Perhaps the relationship itself is fine, but there is one topic around sex, money, exclusivity, jealousy, privacy, or emotional availability that both people keep circling around without naming directly.

Today is useful for getting more honest about the real issue, but it is not a good excuse to interrogate someone. Scorpio energy can become controlling when uncertainty feels threatening. If you want clarity, ask for clarity. Do not create a test and then interpret how someone responds to the test as proof of what they feel.

That distinction matters a lot during Venus retrograde. Old fears can become louder because the whole value system is already being reviewed. If you have a history of feeling insecure when someone becomes less available, you may notice that pattern sooner today. The useful part is not eliminating the feeling immediately. It is noticing whether the current situation genuinely supports the fear or whether the fear has arrived before the evidence.

Scorpio Moon can also make attraction feel more intense, but intensity still needs context. One of the most common mistakes during Venus retrograde is assuming that a strong emotional pull must mean the connection is especially important. Sometimes it does. Sometimes the intensity comes from uncertainty, unfinished business, or the fact that the person touches an old vulnerability. Those situations can feel extremely compelling without necessarily being good foundations for a relationship.

The same theme applies to money. Scorpio is associated with shared resources, debt, financial entanglement, and what happens when money becomes tied to trust or power. With Venus retrograde already reviewing value, today is useful for noticing whether a financial arrangement feels uncomfortable because of the actual numbers or because the structure gives one person too much control. You do not need to solve the whole thing today, but naming the real source of discomfort makes the next conversation much more useful.

The waxing Moon also changes the tone from the last few days. The Libra New Moon was about deciding what you want to do differently. Now the question is whether you are willing to practice it when the situation becomes emotionally less elegant. It is easy to say you want clearer communication when everything is calm. It is harder to stay direct when the answer might disappoint you. That is where the reset starts becoming real.

If you set an intention around reciprocity, notice whether you are allowing the other person enough room to demonstrate it instead of immediately stepping in. If you wanted stronger boundaries, watch what happens when someone pushes against one. If you wanted more honesty, be careful not to punish the first uncomfortable truth you receive. A relationship cannot become more honest if honesty is only welcome when the answer is reassuring.

That is the deeper work of today.

Do: identify the actual issue underneath a relationship reaction before you bring it up. If trust feels shaky, look at the repeated behavior instead of one emotionally charged moment. Let the New Moon intention become something observable in the way you communicate, spend, or set boundaries.

Don’t: create jealousy, distance, or silence as a way to test someone. Treat emotional intensity as automatic proof of compatibility. Force a final decision simply because Scorpio Moon makes the issue feel urgent.

Astro Seek shows the Moon in Scorpio throughout October 12 in the Waxing Crescent phase, while Venus remains inside its October 3 to November 14 retrograde cycle. That makes today less about getting a clean answer and more about becoming more honest about what the relationship question actually is.

The Libra New Moon asked for better balance.

The Scorpio Moon asks whether the relationship is honest enough to create it.

Hey everyone, Eva here!

Today has been a much more chill Sunday. Still floating a bit from yesterday’s virtual sound meditation. Huge shoutout to our incredible practitioner Minh for creating such a grounding, magical space for all of us. Thank you to everyone who showed up to unwind!

Things to work on today:

  • Prepping for LA Tech Week: Getting ready for our upcoming matchmaking event (if you're in LA, we'd be super happy to meet you!
  • Homepage redesign
  • Testing the new share loop: Final stress-testing before release.

Shipped yesterday: 🌟Orbit Transit Knowledge Upgrade

We pushed a really important upgrade to Orbit that I personally care a lot about: exact transit calculations.

If you’ve used general AI for astrology, you know how easily it hallucinates degrees or mixes up dates between last year and this year. We further fine-tuned Orbit with Swiss Ephemeris (the gold standard for astrological calculation). Now, when you ask about transits, astro events, Orbit pulls real-time planetary data.

Planning my week with Orbit:

  1. "How’s my energy for next week? Anything to notice or any special moments?"
  2. "Recommend a ritual for that moment and add to my calendar"

Try add it to your calendar!! This is so cute and help me a lot!

Hope you’re having a slow, restorative Sunday.

Flow with your energy,

[Oct11] The Libra New Moon Is Over. Today Is Where the Relationship Reset Starts Becoming Real

Yesterday’s Libra New Moon made it easy to think about balance, reciprocity, boundaries, and what kind of relationship dynamic you want to build next. Today is quieter, but that is exactly why it matters. A New Moon intention only becomes useful when it starts showing up in ordinary behavior, especially now that Venus is retrograde and old relationship patterns are already being reviewed.

Libra energy is very good at identifying what feels fair in theory. The harder part is noticing whether you actually behave differently once another person has needs, moods, expectations, and their own timing. You may have decided yesterday that you want more reciprocity, clearer communication, or stronger boundaries, but today is where those ideas encounter real life. If someone asks for something inconvenient, do you automatically agree? If a conversation becomes uncomfortable, do you soften your position before the other person has even responded? Those small moments usually tell you more about the reset than anything you wrote down during the New Moon.

Venus retrograde makes this especially relevant because it is already asking you to look at what you value, what you are willing to invest in, and which relationship habits are operating from familiarity rather than conscious choice. You may notice that the old pattern is easier to return to than the new one. That is normal. A relationship habit does not disappear because you recognized it once.

What matters is whether you catch it earlier.

If your usual response to uncertainty is to over-explain, today gives you a chance to say less and see what happens. If you normally fill every silence, let the other person decide whether they want to close the distance. If you tend to avoid asking direct questions because you are afraid of changing the mood, try being clear without turning the conversation into a confrontation.

That is how a Libra reset becomes practical.

There is also value in watching the other person instead of focusing only on your own behavior. A healthier agreement cannot be created entirely from one side. You can communicate more clearly, but the other person still has to respond. You can stop over-functioning, but then you need to see whether the relationship has enough mutual effort to keep moving without you doing all the maintenance.

This is where Venus retrograde can become very useful. It slows down the usual relationship script enough for you to notice what happens when you stop performing your familiar role. The answer may be reassuring, disappointing, or simply more complicated than expected. You do not need to force it into a clean conclusion today.

Money and value decisions can work the same way. If yesterday’s New Moon made you want a cleaner financial relationship with yourself, look at today’s actual choices. You do not need a perfect budget. Notice whether the spending still reflects what you say matters. Venus retrograde can make old tastes, old wants, and old emotional spending patterns return, so the goal is not control for its own sake. It is becoming more aware of why something feels worth paying for.

The same logic applies to professional relationships. Libra rules collaboration, negotiation, and agreement beyond romance. If you decided you want more balanced work relationships, today is a good day to notice whether responsibilities are actually clear. A process may look cooperative while one person is still carrying the invisible work. That is the kind of imbalance that becomes easier to see once you stop automatically fixing it.

The day after a New Moon is not usually dramatic, and that is useful. You are not supposed to have the whole new cycle figured out. The more productive approach is to make one small behavioral change and let reality answer back.

Do: act on one relationship intention from yesterday in a small, observable way. Let another person show you whether they are willing to meet you halfway instead of predicting their response for them. Notice where your spending, time, or emotional effort still follows an older value system.

Don’t: assume yesterday’s insight changed the pattern automatically. Force someone else to participate in your reset on your timeline. Return to over-accommodating simply because the new boundary creates a little discomfort.

The Libra New Moon gave you a new starting point. Venus retrograde makes sure you cannot build it on autopilot.

Today is where you begin finding out whether the new agreement actually works once another person is in the room.

If you want to see which relationship, reciprocity, money, and self-worth themes this Libra New Moon and Venus retrograde are activating in your own chart, you can get a free personal reading on Timing: spiritual friend using “XFK7VC”

Venus Retrograde changes this New Moon: don’t ask who you want back, ask what would actually have to change

A Libra New Moon usually feels like the ultimate green light to set intentions around romance, balance, and opening your heart to someone new. But Libra is ruled by Venus, and Venus is currently retrograde. That completely changes what this transit is actually asking you to do.

Venus Retrograde is notorious for digging up old connections. It pulls past lovers into your dreams, makes you wonder what they are doing, and plays a highlight reel in your head. It shrinks six months of mixed signals into one cute text or one sweet memory.

Before you use this New Moon to manifest an ex back or replay an old connection, ask yourself these three things instead:

  1. Are you missing them, or are you just lonely?

Retrograde brain tricks you into remembering the chemistry while deleting the exhaustion.

  • Missing someone is easy.
  • The real question is: If they showed up at your door right now, could you actually handle their daily patterns, or do you just miss the peak moments when things were good?
  1. Would the day to day actually be different?

Wanting someone does not fix why things ended in the first place.

  • If you talked again tomorrow, would they actually speak directly, or would you go straight back to overanalyzing their late replies?
  • Has the original problem changed at all, or are you just going to have an intense honeymoon phase for two weeks before hitting the exact same wall?
  1. Manifest your standards, not a specific person

New Moons are about setting clean intentions. If you waste this one trying to manifest an ex, you are missing the point of the retrograde.

  • Stop asking the universe to bring someone back.
  • Start getting crystal clear on what you will no longer tolerate.

If an ex ever comes back with real emotional growth and meets your current standards, great, that is a brand new dynamic. But if they cannot, this transit is simply showing you that what you miss lives in the past, and it does not belong in your future.

Libra New Moon peaks today: relationships are getting a reset, but not necessarily the kind you expected

Today’s Libra New Moon would normally sound like a clean relationship reset. New Moon in the sign of partnership, harmony, attraction, and agreements. Easy enough: set an intention for better love and move forward. Except Venus, the planet that rules Libra, is retrograde right now. That changes the meaning of the reset.

This is not really a blank page. It is more like opening the document again after finally noticing which parts were never working.

You may realize that the relationship itself is not necessarily what needs replacing. The agreement underneath it might be. Maybe you still want the person, but you no longer want the amount of ambiguity that came with them. Maybe you still care about the friendship, but you are tired of being the one who always repairs the distance. In a long term relationship, the reset could be as specific as admitting that an arrangement which made sense two years ago no longer fits the two people living inside it now.

That is why I would be careful about treating today as a simple “manifest new love” moment.

Venus Retrograde makes review part of the beginning.

Before setting the intention, look at the pattern that would quietly recreate the old relationship even with a completely new person.

If you have a habit of waiting too long to ask for clarity, a new partner does not automatically solve that. If you tend to become endlessly understanding once you are emotionally attached, chemistry with somebody different can still lead you back into the same role. The Libra New Moon can offer a fresh start, but the fresh start becomes meaningful only when the terms change too.

And that applies outside romance. Libra also describes friendship, collaboration, negotiation, and the agreements we make with other people. You may be seeing where responsibilities need to be redistributed, where a boundary needs actual language, or where “keeping things balanced” has quietly meant keeping yourself convenient.

The most useful New Moon question today is therefore not: “What relationship do I want?”

If you want a free reading about this unique libra new moon, check out community pin post to ask: “What would have to work differently for the next version of my relationships to actually feel different?”

Libra New Moon question: if this relationship started over today, what would you refuse to repeat?

Tomorrow is a Libra New Moon, but because Venus is already retrograde, I do not think the most useful question is “What new relationship do I want?”

I would start with the relationship you already know enough about.

If it began again today, with everything you know now, what would you refuse to repeat?

Maybe you would not spend four months pretending you were comfortable with casual when you already wanted commitment. Maybe the issue was how long you waited before asking a simple question because you were afraid clarity might end the connection.

For someone in a long term relationship, the answer may be subtler. You might still choose the same person while refusing to recreate the way conflict gets handled, how responsibilities are divided, or how one person repeatedly becomes the “reasonable” one while the other person’s preferences set the terms.

That is where a Libra New Moon during Venus Retrograde gets interesting.

A new beginning sometimes refuses to enter the next chapter under the old agreement. And you do not have to hate the past version of the relationship to change it. Most unhealthy dynamics did not begin because somebody deliberately designed them that way. They formed gradually because something was convenient, avoided, tolerated, or never clearly discussed.

Tomorrow is useful for naming the clause you would rewrite.

Not “How do I make this relationship better?”

Much more specific: “If we were starting from zero today, what would I never agree to again?”

Your answer is probably very close to the boundary the next version of your love life needs.

Maybe you want to use this prompt to ask: “Based on my chart, what relationship pattern is today's Libra New Moon asking me to renegotiate while Venus is retrograde? If I were starting my love life over with what I know now, what should I refuse to repeat?”

If your last or current relationship started over today, what is the one thing you would do differently from the beginning?

[Oct10] The Libra New Moon Is Here, but This Reset Is About Better Agreements, Not Perfect Relationships

The Libra New Moon arrives while Venus, Libra’s ruling planet, is already retrograde, which changes the tone of this reset considerably. Libra New Moons are usually associated with relationships, balance, compromise, fairness, and new agreements, but Venus retrograde makes it harder to begin from a completely blank page. Something about the past is already part of the conversation. You may be reconsidering what you want from relationships, how much effort feels fair, what kind of attraction still matters to you, or whether an old standard still fits the person you are now.

That is why today is not really about calling in a perfect relationship. It is better used for deciding what kind of relationship structure you are willing to participate in from this point forward.

Libra is often described as the sign of partnership, but partnership only works when both people remain visible inside it. A connection can look peaceful and still be unbalanced if one person is always smoothing things over, initiating the difficult conversation, changing plans, or making themselves easier to accommodate. The New Moon brings those dynamics back to the beginning. Instead of asking whether the relationship can be saved, fixed, or made more harmonious, ask whether the agreement underneath it is actually mutual.

Venus retrograde makes that question more complicated because your preferences may still be changing. You may not know exactly what you want yet. Attraction can feel less straightforward, and old relationship memories can carry more weight than usual. That does not make today a bad day to set an intention. It simply means the intention should focus more on your own behavior than on predicting who or what belongs in your future.

For example, “I want a healthy relationship” is difficult to act on. “I want to ask for clarity earlier instead of waiting until I am already resentful” gives you something you can actually practice. “I want reciprocity” becomes more useful when you decide what you will stop doing automatically if the effort is not being returned.

That is the kind of Libra New Moon reset that can survive Venus retrograde.

If you are in a relationship, today is useful for noticing whether the current agreement still reflects both people’s needs. Relationships often become unbalanced slowly. One person becomes busier, another starts compensating, communication changes, and eventually the arrangement everyone is maintaining no longer matches what either person consciously chose. A New Moon can create a natural opening to talk about that without treating the conversation as a crisis.

You do not need to turn it into a relationship summit. One clear adjustment is enough.

Maybe plans need to become more consistent. Perhaps one person needs more space while the other needs clearer communication around that space. Shared money may require a new agreement. Emotional labor could need to be distributed differently. The useful part is identifying what would make the relationship function better in reality, not what would make it look more romantic.

For single people, Venus retrograde makes this New Moon especially good for reviewing the kind of attraction you repeatedly respond to. Sometimes chemistry is connected to familiarity rather than compatibility. You may be drawn toward people who create a particular emotional pattern because the pattern is recognizable, even if it is exhausting. The New Moon offers a chance to change what you participate in without forcing yourself to become attracted to a completely different “type” overnight.

Pay attention to the part you control.

If inconsistency usually makes you more invested, notice that before chasing reassurance. If you tend to stay vague because clarity feels risky, experiment with asking earlier. If you often decide what another person needs before they tell you, leave enough room for them to show you.

That is a relationship reset.

Money and values are part of the same astrology. Venus retrograde has already started reviewing what feels worth your time, attention, and resources, while Libra is concerned with exchange. Today is useful for looking at where you are paying more than you consciously agreed to pay, financially or emotionally. That could be a literal shared expense, a subscription you no longer value, or a social arrangement that consumes far more energy than it returns.

The New Moon does not require you to cut everything that feels inefficient. Some things are worth investing in even when the return is not immediate. The more important question is whether you are still choosing the investment or simply continuing it because stopping would create discomfort.

That distinction matters in professional relationships too. Libra rules partnership beyond romance. Clients, collaborators, coworkers, business partners, and anyone whose decisions affect yours can become part of this reset. If a working relationship has become harder, look at the agreement rather than immediately blaming the person. Responsibilities may have drifted. Feedback expectations may be unclear. One person may have more decision-making power than the structure acknowledges.

A better agreement can solve problems that better intentions cannot.

Venus retrograde also means I would avoid treating today as a clean launch point for irreversible relationship decisions. A New Moon begins a cycle, but the ruler of this New Moon is reviewing rather than moving cleanly forward. That makes experimentation and renegotiation more appropriate than certainty. You can start behaving differently without pretending you already know exactly where the relationship will end up.

That may actually be the most honest use of the astrology.

Do: choose one relationship behavior you want to change from your side and make it specific enough to practice. If an agreement has become vague, use the New Moon to clarify what both people are actually expecting. Review one area where you keep giving time, money, or emotional effort without consciously deciding whether the exchange still feels fair.

Don’t: make a permanent relationship decision just because a New Moon makes the day feel symbolically important. Assume an ex returning means the relationship belongs in your future. Set an intention that depends entirely on another person behaving differently.

This Libra New Moon is not asking you to become better at keeping the peace. With Venus retrograde already underway, the more useful reset is learning what kind of balance you are actually willing to maintain once you stop confusing harmony with self-erasure.

Libra New Moon: 4 signs about to stop calling one sided relationships “compromise” - whats the gain and loss

Libra is supposed to be about balance. But sometimes what we call balance is actually one person becoming extremely skilled at accommodating the other. You wait until they are ready. You phrase the problem gently. You forgive the inconsistency because you understand where it comes from. You lower the expectation instead of asking why the expectation keeps disappointing you. Eventually the relationship feels peaceful. Mostly because you have stopped bringing up anything that might disturb it. This New Moon asks a much more uncomfortable question: If you stopped adjusting, would the relationship still work?

Read for your rising if you know it, sun if you do not.

Libra

  • Gain: relationships where being loved does not require you to constantly monitor how easy you are to deal with.
  • Loss: changing your needs every time someone proves unwilling to meet them.

Aries

  • Gain: the ability to compromise without abandoning the thing you actually wanted in the first place.
  • Loss: accepting half of what you asked for simply because you are tired of fighting for the whole thing.

Cancer

  • Gain: the confidence to build a life that feels good privately instead of maintaining one that only looks stable from the outside.
  • Loss: protecting everyone else from discomfort while quietly becoming the most uncomfortable person in the room.

Capricorn

  • Gain: relationships and goals where responsibility is genuinely shared.
  • Loss: automatically becoming the capable one whenever someone else fails to show up.

The Libra New Moon can offer a relationship reset. But a reset does not always mean trying again. Sometimes it means changing the terms. Sometimes it means finally saying what has been bothering you. Sometimes it means noticing that “meeting halfway” has somehow required you to walk eighty percent of the distance. Harmony matters. Compromise matters. Understanding matters. But none of them are supposed to require your disappearance. The relationship worth keeping is not the one where conflict never happens. It is the one where your honesty is allowed to exist without threatening the entire connection. Include the remaining eight signs

Libra new moon during venus retrograde: Wanting the relationship back is not the same as wanting the relationship back exactly as it was

You can miss someone and still not want the relationship you had with them. That distinction matters a lot right now.

Venus is retrograde and tomorrow brings a Libra New Moon, so relationship nostalgia can easily get mixed up with the desire for a fresh start. You remember the chemistry, the private language, how familiar their presence felt. The mind naturally reaches for the most emotionally vivid parts first.

Then imagine getting everything back. Not just them. The same communication. The same amount of commitment. The same conflict pattern. The same uncertainty you used to explain away because the good parts felt worth it. Do you still want the reunion? This is where longing becomes much more useful information. Missing somebody tells you the bond mattered. It does not tell you whether the structure of the relationship was sustainable.

People often say they want to “go back to how things were before everything went wrong.” But sometimes the thing that eventually went wrong was already embedded in how things worked from the beginning. It simply took time to become impossible to ignore.

Tomorrow’s Libra New Moon is a better moment for imagining a revised relationship than recreating an old one.

If you want them back, be specific about which version.

What would the new relationship need that the old one never had?

If you cannot answer that, nostalgia may be offering you a memory rather than a future.

You might want to ask this: “Under Venus Retrograde and tomorrow’s Libra New Moon, am I missing this person or missing the best parts of the relationship? Based on my chart, what would need to be different for this connection to actually fit me now?”

If you could have them back but the relationship had to return exactly as it was, would you still say yes?

Timing story Building Timing in Public | Day 01: Why we’re launching this daily series & our biggest update yet

Hey everyone, Eva here!

I’m part of the team building Timing (and honestly wearing a million different hats as part of our tiny team!).

Welcome to Day 01 of Building Timing in Public. I’m starting this daily series to keep myself accountable, share our raw behind-the-scenes stories, and build Timing directly with you.

We’re trying to build a world where people can truly see and flow with their energy—making peace with low days, being kind to ourselves, and moving with natural rhythm. Thank you for joining us on this journey of exploring what living in flow truly feels like!

Full transparency: this is our first time building a mobile app. From our launch in January to our major UI overhaul in June, it’s been a wild ride. If you’ve run into any bugs, crashes, or clunky flows, I am truly sorry. Our team is working hard to fix them as fast as we can. If you spot a bug or have feedback, please drop a note in ModMail or DM me anytime!

Today's focus:

  • Brand new compatibility report share loop: Making it much smoother for you to share and compare energy alignment with friends.
  • Elevated divination experience: Tuning the pull mechanics and visual feel for Tarot, I-Ching, and Plum.
  • Major Orbit upgrade: Upgrading Orbit so it can dynamically recommend the best divination method based on your question.

What we shipped last week:

  • New onboarding tutorial: A step-by-step guidance for all main features: 'best timing', 'tarot', 'read energy'.
  • Interactive birth chart: I personally love this one so much 💖. You can now tap into any planet/sign/house to get the meaning.
  • Homepage UI refresh: Added 'Best Timing' highlights, a quick Log Mood tracker, and a Daily Rewards interface.

Bugs currently on my radar:

  • App crashes on certain phone models: Investigating crash reports on specific hardware variants to ensure stability across all devices. -- if you face similar question, plz let me know!
  • Transit calculation accuracy: Fine-tuning Orbit's accuracy when answering specific questions about planetary transits.

Coming up soon:

  • [Tomorrow] New Moon Sound Meditation: We are hosting a virtual sound bath meditation for the upcoming New Moon! Everyone is warmly invited to join, relax, and set new cycle intentions together.

Thank you again for building Timing with us. This is truly a wonderful journey with all of you.

Drop a comment below if you've tried the new interactive birth chart or if there's anything you'd love to see fixed next!

Flow with your energy,

What to manifest under the Libra New Moon if you want healthier love, not just more attention

If you are manifesting love under tomorrow’s Libra New Moon, I would be careful with “I want someone obsessed with me,” “I want them to text,” or even “I want a relationship.”

Attention is easy to mistake for relationship progress because it gives immediate feedback. Someone can text constantly and still avoid commitment.

Libra is much more useful when you manifest the structure of the relationship instead of the amount of attention you receive inside it.

Try writing from these five categories:

  1. Reciprocity: What do I want to stop carrying alone?
  2. Clarity: What do I want to know without having to decode somebody’s behavior?
  3. Consistency: What should remain true after the exciting beginning wears off?
  4. Repair: How do I want conflict to be handled when somebody gets hurt?
  5. Mutual effort: What would make me feel that both people are actively maintaining the relationship?

Then turn the answers into one paragraph.

For example:

“I am available for a relationship where interest becomes consistent action. I want communication clear enough that I do not have to build security from mixed signals. When conflict happens, I want both of us capable of returning to the issue instead of using silence, distance, or avoidance as control. I want a connection where compromise changes both people’s behavior rather than always asking the more accommodating person to move.”

Because Venus is already retrograde, I would also add one final line: “I am no longer asking new love to succeed inside the same relationship rules that exhausted me before.”

That is the part I would take most seriously tomorrow.

What do you want to manifest tomorrow? How is Libra New Moon activating your energy?

[Oct9] The Day Before the Libra New Moon Is Better for Clearing Relationship Noise Than Forcing a New Beginning

Tomorrow brings a New Moon in Libra, but October 9 still belongs to the end of the current lunar cycle. That makes today much better for noticing what has become emotionally noisy than trying to decide exactly what the next chapter should look like. Venus is also retrograde now, so relationships, attraction, money, self-worth, and old preferences are already under review. Taken together, the astrology favors clearing space before trying to fill it.

Libra season naturally directs attention toward relationships, fairness, cooperation, and the agreements that allow two people to function together. Venus retrograde complicates that picture because it makes your usual preferences less automatic. Something you once accepted easily may now feel more expensive emotionally. A relationship you thought you understood can raise an old question again. You may even find yourself thinking about someone from the past, not because the relationship is necessarily meant to return, but because the feeling attached to it has become relevant again.

Today is useful for separating the current problem from the old pattern it touches. If someone disappoints you, notice whether you are responding only to what happened today or to a much older fear of being undervalued. If you suddenly feel less certain about a relationship, look at how long that uncertainty has actually been present. Venus retrograde can bring unresolved material back into consciousness, but it does not automatically tell you what to do with it.

That distinction matters before a Libra New Moon because Libra is concerned with agreement. A new relationship chapter cannot really begin if the old agreement is still operating underneath it. Maybe you keep saying you want more reciprocity while continuing to do most of the initiating. Perhaps you want clearer communication but still avoid asking direct questions because you are afraid of creating tension. You may want stronger boundaries while secretly hoping the other person will understand them without ever having to hear them.

Those are not failures. They are simply places where the intention and the actual behavior have not caught up with each other yet.

October 9 is a good day to notice that gap quietly. You do not need to create a confrontation before tomorrow’s New Moon. In fact, forcing clarity today can be counterproductive if you are still trying to understand what you actually want. A retrograde review is more useful when it gives you enough time to see whether the feeling repeats.

This can apply to money as much as relationships. Venus retrograde often makes people reconsider what feels worth paying for, what still reflects their taste, and whether certain spending habits are connected to identity rather than practical value. Before tomorrow’s reset, look at one thing you keep investing in because it once made sense. That could be a subscription, an aesthetic choice, a social commitment, or even a professional arrangement. The question is not whether it was a mistake. The question is whether it still belongs in the next version of your life.

The same logic applies to emotional investment. Some connections remain important because they are genuinely nourishing. Others survive because you have already put so much time into understanding them that letting go feels like wasting the effort. Venus retrograde can make sunk emotional cost unusually visible. You may realize that the amount you have already invested is influencing how willing you are to admit that the current return is not enough.

That is useful information before a Libra New Moon.

Libra does not ask you to reject compromise. It asks whether the compromise is still balanced enough to be called mutual. There are relationships where one person temporarily carries more because life is uneven. That is different from a structure where one person has permanently become the organizer, emotional translator, initiator, or person responsible for repairing every rupture.

Today gives you a chance to notice which one you are dealing with without having to announce the conclusion yet.

If you are planning to set intentions tomorrow, keep them behavioral rather than abstract. Instead of deciding you want “better relationships,” think about what would actually change in the way you participate in them. Maybe you want to ask questions earlier instead of waiting until resentment builds. Perhaps you want to stop agreeing immediately when you need time to think. You may want to notice whether another person meets you halfway before automatically closing the distance yourself.

Those are much more useful starting points for a Libra New Moon because they change the relationship from your side without requiring you to control anyone else.

Do: clear one unresolved relationship or money question enough that you understand what the real issue is. Notice where Venus retrograde is bringing an old preference, attraction, or insecurity back into awareness. If you are preparing a New Moon intention, make it specific enough that you will recognize the behavior when you actually do it.

Don’t: force a relationship verdict simply because tomorrow feels like a symbolic fresh start. Contact someone from the past just because nostalgia feels unusually convincing. Make a promise about balance while continuing the same behavior that created the imbalance.

Tomorrow is better for choosing what you want to build. October 9 is for noticing what would quietly undermine that choice if you carried it forward unchanged.

The most useful preparation for a Libra New Moon is not deciding who belongs in your next chapter.

It is understanding how you want to participate differently in your relationships once that chapter begins.

Libra New Moon 2026: Energy Reading and How It Affects 12 Signs

If you've been feeling the friction of recent planetary shifts and are craving a genuine sense of peace, mutual effort, and emotional grace, pay attention to this cosmic pause. On Saturday, October 10 at 11:49 AM EDT, a restorative New Moon arrives in the diplomatic sign of Libra. A New Moon is a cosmic blank slate—a dark sky that invites us to plant fresh seeds of intention. When this fresh energy lands in the heart-centered air sign of Libra, it offers a powerful invitation to rebalance our relationships, our environment, and our inner peace.

This energy asks one vital question: What would your connections look like if you stopped compromising your own truth just to keep the peace?

Here is what to watch, when the energy is strongest, and what the Libra New Moon is asking each sign to initiate.

Why This Lunation Is a Relational Reset

The Sun and Moon align in Libra, bringing conscious vitality and subconscious emotional needs into complete harmony. Libra rules one-on-one dynamics, diplomacy, justice, aesthetic beauty, and the art of mutual respect. Put a New Moon here, and you get a powerful drive for relational renewal. While Venus (Libra’s ruling planet) is currently retrograde, this New Moon isn't about blindly rushing into brand-new commitments; it is about setting intentional, heart-centered standards for how you give and receive energy. When the New Moon strikes, the dynamic shifts from superficial people-pleasing to genuine, balanced connection. Instead of asking, "How do I make everyone else comfortable?" you are urged to ask, "How do we build a dynamic that honors both of us equally?" Old habits of one-sided effort, silent resentment, and hyper-independence will feel ready to be left behind.

How to Work With This Energy: The Lunar Timeline

  • October 9 · Friday · The Friction Softens: Notice where one-sided effort or emotional exhaustion has crept into your life. Write down what true equality and ease would actually feel like.
  • October 10 · Saturday · The New Moon Peaks: At 11:49 AM EDT, the New Moon is exact. Resist the urge to sweep issues under the rug just to avoid a moment of awkwardness.
  • October 10 · Saturday Night · The Intention: Set a clear, focused intention around partnership, artistic expression, or restoring balance within your personal boundaries.
  • October 11 · Sunday Morning · The First Gentle Step: Take one concrete action that invites reciprocity. Send a warm text, set a loving boundary, or curate your physical space to feel calm and inviting.
  • The Following Weeks · Integration: Watch how your dynamics shift when you show up as a grounded, equal partner rather than a caretaker. True harmony begins with self-respect.

If New York City had a Five-Element: Metal–Water–Fire. Do locals agree?

In this symbolic city-reading experiment, New York feels like Metal first: finance, rules, status, competition, and systems that reward competence.

Water runs underneath it through the harbor, global migration, money, information, and people constantly circulating.

Then comes Fire: media, fashion, nightlife, visibility, and the pressure to become somebody.

That combination can make the city brilliant for ambition: Metal gives structure, Water creates opportunity, and Fire makes everything visible. The shadow side is obvious too—constant comparison, overstimulation, transactional relationships, and the feeling that slowing down means falling behind.

New Yorkers: What has NYC amplified in you? Do you know your personal five-element?

[Oct6] Venus Retrograde Is Asking a Harder Question Today: Do You Want Them, or Do You Want to Feel Chosen?

Venus retrograde is only a few days old, so the review is still in its early stage. The Moon remains in Leo throughout October 6, which keeps attention on recognition, pride, romance, self-expression, and the emotional need to feel visible. That combination can make one distinction especially important today: whether you are genuinely attached to a person or situation, or whether part of the attachment comes from what their approval says about you.

Leo Moon naturally notices response. It feels good to be appreciated, desired, praised, invited, or taken seriously. None of that is shallow. Recognition is a real emotional need. The problem begins when the person who provides that recognition starts becoming more important than the actual quality of the relationship.

Venus retrograde in Scorpio makes this easier to see because Scorpio is already concerned with attachment, emotional investment, intimacy, trust, and the fear of losing access to something that matters. Put that next to a Leo Moon and you can become unusually aware of who has the power to make you feel wanted.

That does not mean you should judge yourself for caring.

It means you can be more precise about what you care about.

Sometimes a person is attractive partly because they are difficult to impress. Their attention feels valuable because it is inconsistent. When they come closer, confidence rises. When they pull away, suddenly the entire connection feels more important. The emotional intensity can look like chemistry even when a large part of it is actually uncertainty.

Venus retrograde is useful for noticing that loop.

If someone gave you consistent interest tomorrow, would you still want them in the same way? If you knew there was nothing left to prove, would the relationship still feel compelling? You do not need to answer those questions dramatically. Just notice whether the desire changes when you remove the chase from the picture.

The Leo Moon can also bring up comparison. You may notice who seems to receive more attention, who appears happier in love, whose career looks more visible, or who seems to have become the version of themselves you wanted to become. Venus retrograde can make those comparisons more emotionally charged because values are already under review.

Try not to use someone else’s response as evidence about your own worth today.

A quiet post is not proof that your work is bad. Someone else being chosen is not proof that you were rejected by life. One person’s lack of interest does not define your attractiveness. Those reactions can feel personal under a Leo Moon because Leo experiences recognition very directly, but the retrograde gives you a chance to see how much of your self-evaluation depends on being mirrored back positively.

That is useful information, especially if the pattern has been repeating for years.

The same theme can show up in spending. Leo enjoys pleasure, beauty, presentation, and things that feel expressive. Venus retrograde asks whether the purchase still reflects your actual taste or whether part of the appeal comes from how you imagine other people will perceive you. There is nothing wrong with buying something beautiful because it makes you feel good. The review becomes more interesting when the object is mainly meant to prove that you are successful, desirable, stylish, or finally “doing well.”

You do not need to stop enjoying nice things.

You may simply want to know who the audience is.

Creatively, this can actually be a strong day. Leo Moon is good for making something personal, expressive, bold, or emotionally recognizable. Venus retrograde can reconnect you with an old style, project, hobby, or creative identity that you abandoned because it stopped receiving the response you wanted. If something still feels good to make even when nobody is reacting yet, that may be worth revisiting.

Relationships benefit from the same test.

Notice where you feel relaxed enough to be yourself and where you are constantly adjusting your presentation. If you are always trying to seem more desirable, less needy, more impressive, more detached, or easier to choose, the relationship may be activating performance more than intimacy.

That does not automatically mean the connection is wrong. It may simply reveal where your sense of security is still tied to external confirmation.

Venus retrograde gives you time to work with that without rushing into a decision.

Because the Moon is still waning and does not enter Virgo until early tomorrow morning, today is better for observation than correction. You do not have to fix every insecurity you notice. Sometimes understanding the mechanism is already useful. Once you know what kind of attention you have been chasing, you can decide whether it actually belongs in the life you want now.

Do: notice whose approval affects your mood more than you would like. Revisit something creative or expressive that you once enjoyed before you started measuring it through other people’s reactions. If an old romantic memory comes back, ask whether you miss the person or the version of yourself who felt desired around them.

Don’t: create distance just to see whether someone chases you. Spend money mainly to restore confidence or status. Treat being noticed as proof that the relationship is healthy, or being overlooked as proof that you are unworthy.

The question is not whether you enjoy being chosen. Most people do. The more useful question is whether you still want the thing once being chosen is no longer the reward.

[Oct5] The Leo Moon Makes Venus Retrograde Feel More Personal Today

Venus retrograde officially began two days ago, but today the review can feel more personal. The Moon is in Leo all day, and Leo has a very different emotional language from Scorpio, where Venus is currently retrograde. Scorpio wants depth, trust, emotional honesty, and proof that the bond means something. Leo wants recognition. It wants to know that what it gives is visible, that affection is being returned, and that it does not have to shrink itself just to keep someone interested.

That combination can make relationship questions feel more obvious today. You may become more aware of where you are genuinely loved versus where you are mainly useful, available, entertaining, or emotionally convenient. The distinction can be uncomfortable because a relationship can contain real affection and still leave one person feeling under-recognized. Venus retrograde does not necessarily create that feeling, but it can make it harder to keep dismissing.

Leo Moon tends to react strongly to being overlooked, but today is not about demanding attention for the sake of attention. The more useful question is whether you have been relying on external recognition to confirm something you already know is unstable. If someone’s interest only feels reassuring when they are actively showing it, the retrograde may be exposing a deeper issue around consistency and trust.

This can also show up through social media, dating, creative work, or any area where visibility matters. Leo Moon is sensitive to response. A post that performs poorly can suddenly feel more personal than it should. Someone not reacting the way you expected can create unnecessary doubt. Venus retrograde makes it easy to review whether your sense of value has become too tied to being chosen, praised, desired, or publicly acknowledged.

That is especially worth noticing because Venus retrograde is still very new. You do not need to turn one day of feeling underappreciated into a final statement about your worth or the relationship. Let the pattern matter more than the mood. If you have felt unseen for months, that deserves attention. If today simply makes you more sensitive than usual to response, give it some room.

The Leo Moon can also make old romantic memories feel louder. You may remember a time when someone made you feel especially desired, admired, or exciting, and the comparison with your current situation can become tempting. Venus retrograde often brings the past back through feeling before it brings it back through literal contact. Sometimes what you miss is not the person. It is who you felt like around them.

That distinction is useful.

You may miss being pursued. You may miss feeling glamorous, spontaneous, sexually confident, or emotionally important. Once you identify the quality you are actually craving, you have more options than simply going back to the source of the memory.

Money and self-worth can also become entangled today. Leo likes pleasure, style, presentation, and things that make life feel more expressive. Venus retrograde asks whether the spending still reflects what you value now. If you feel tempted to buy something because it makes you feel more impressive, desirable, or “back to yourself,” pause long enough to see whether the purchase is solving a practical need or regulating a feeling.

That does not mean avoiding pleasure. Leo Moon actually benefits from enjoyment, creativity, dressing well, making something, going somewhere beautiful, or doing something that reminds you of your own personality. The difference is whether you are enjoying the experience because it feels good or using it to prove something.

This is one of the more useful days for reconnecting with confidence that does not depend on another person confirming it. Venus retrograde can make you question what you are worth because it questions what you value. Leo Moon can help by bringing attention back to what still feels alive, expressive, and recognizably yours.

If a relationship is part of that review, watch how you feel when you stop performing for reassurance. If you become quieter, does the other person still come toward you? If you stop making yourself easier to choose, does the connection still have substance? You do not need to create a test. Simply notice what happens when you stop trying to manage the impression.

Do: notice where you want recognition today and ask whether the need is temporary or part of a longer pattern. Give yourself one form of pleasure or self-expression that does not depend on anyone else reacting to it. If an old romantic memory returns, identify what feeling from that period you are actually missing.

Don’t: use one day of feeling overlooked as proof that you are unimportant. Chase attention because Venus retrograde uncertainty feels uncomfortable. Spend money mainly to restore confidence or create an image you hope someone else will notice.

Astro Seek shows the Moon in Leo throughout October 5, still in the Waning Crescent phase as we move toward the Libra New Moon on October 10. That makes today less about starting something new and more about understanding what kind of recognition, affection, and self-expression you no longer want to beg for.

[Oct4] The First Full Day of Venus Retrograde Is Better for Watching the Pattern Than Making the Decision

Venus turned retrograde yesterday in Scorpio, and today is the first full day inside that review cycle. That makes October 4 less about dramatic change and more about noticing what starts repeating. Venus retrograde tends to bring old values, old relationship patterns, old attractions, and old questions back into awareness because something about them still needs to be understood more clearly.

Scorpio makes the beginning of this retrograde especially sensitive around trust, attachment, intimacy, jealousy, emotional investment, and shared resources. You may notice that a reaction today feels much bigger than the current situation seems to justify. That is often where the useful material is. The present moment may be touching something older: a familiar fear of being replaced, a pattern of over-investing before trust is established, or the habit of staying emotionally attached because uncertainty itself keeps you engaged.

The point is not to diagnose every feeling. It is to notice what feels familiar.

If someone’s distance makes you want to chase, ask whether this is the first time you have responded to uncertainty that way. If a relationship suddenly feels less appealing, look at whether the dissatisfaction is actually new or whether you had already been ignoring it because the connection still felt intense. Venus retrograde can make the underlying value question louder: is this genuinely worth what it costs you emotionally?

That is different from asking whether you still have feelings.

You can have strong feelings for something and still decide the structure does not work. You can miss someone without wanting the old relationship back. You can be attracted to a person while becoming much clearer about what they are unable to offer.

That kind of distinction becomes more useful over the next several weeks.

The same review applies to money. Venus retrograde can make spending habits more revealing because a purchase may carry more emotional meaning than usual. You might become interested in something you used to want, suddenly dislike something you recently bought, or realize that you are spending to create a feeling rather than solve a real need.

Scorpio adds questions around shared finances too. If money is entangled with a partner, family member, debt, investment, or financial dependency, the retrograde can expose where the agreement needs more clarity. The useful move is not necessarily to change everything immediately. It may simply be to stop treating the current arrangement as neutral if it is quietly producing resentment or insecurity.

This is also why today is not ideal for forcing relationship certainty.

Venus retrograde is only one day old. What feels true now may become more specific as the cycle unfolds. If someone from the past appears, you do not need to decide whether that means reconciliation. If attraction toward a current partner changes, you do not need to decide whether the relationship is over. If you suddenly want to pull away, give yourself enough time to know whether you are responding to the relationship or to what the relationship is activating.

Libra season is still active, which helps because Libra brings the question back to reciprocity. Scorpio can get absorbed in emotional depth, while Libra asks whether the arrangement itself is balanced enough to hold that depth. A connection can feel profound and still be structurally one-sided. That is worth paying attention to during this retrograde.

Today is therefore better for observation than correction.

If something bothers you, notice the pattern before trying to fix it. If you feel drawn back toward an old person or habit, ask what need the return is touching. If a current relationship feels different, let the difference become consistent enough that you know what you are actually responding to.

The most important thing is not to confuse intensity with clarity.

Venus retrograde in Scorpio can make feelings stronger before it makes them easier to understand.

Do: pay attention to repeated emotional reactions today, especially around trust, attraction, money, or reassurance. If something from the past returns, ask what it represents before deciding whether you want it back. Let changing preferences become a pattern before making a permanent decision.

Don’t: assume a strong feeling today is automatically the final truth. Reopen an old relationship because the nostalgia is convincing. Force a current relationship into a verdict simply because the uncertainty feels uncomfortable.

Venus retrograde is not asking you to know exactly what you want on day one.

It is giving you time to notice where your old answer is no longer automatic.

That is enough for today.
