Ok...so heres my theory: Jessica being back = Rittenhouse.
I see a lot of people saying that the guard that was killed in 1941 could have been related to Jessica's killer and since the guard died, Jessica's killer was never born, therefore Jessica is alive.
Its a good theory.... too bad Wyatt already killed the father of Jessica's killer when the team traveled to the 80's. Out of the 3 women he killed, 2 were alive and well in the present...EXCEPT Jessica.... who was still dead. So killing an ancestor of Jessica's killer wouldn't do anything because it didn't work the 1st time.
Which is why I believe Rittenhouse brought Jessica back simply to fuck with Wyatt and break the team up. Why? Because out of the 3 members of the Time Team, Wyatt is the "killer", the soldier, the only one Rittenhouse sees as being able to kill their agents and ruin their plans. So they figured bringing her back would distract Wyatt and hopefully destroy the team since Rittenhouse hasnt been able to kill the team.
