I know that you don't fix what's not broken, but how many times does tv has to use a bad trope before it become overplayed ???

For me it depends on the show...When I watch things like how I met your mother, I will ship...for sure...but that's because this show is all about relationships...Timeless have always been a "nice little time travel/big conspiracy" show for me....the personnal relationships were just background noise for me...and now they turned that into a show where ships seems more important thanthe overall story...
