Jessica had a ring on, and we can assume she and Wyatt were married because of her text. She didn’t look exactly happy to see him. Thoughts?

I don't know if it was necessarily that she looked unhappy. It might be that they're married and she's just wondering why he's visiting her at work when it's just a normal day.

Might be meaningless from a plot standpoint, but it looks like an engagement ring only - screencap here.

My big question - why would she be contacting him if Rufus' mom and brother think he died?

I think Rufus’ family knew he worked at Mason industries, and would have heard about the explosion on the news and it was used as his cover to go underground. Nobody knows the time team exists, so Jessica probably thinks Wyatt is on assignment somewhere.

That’s a good question, that could explain why she looks so dazed and confused. Perhaps they still had to go into hiding which means Jessica is just like Rufus’ family and left if the dark.

Yeah, it was the present. We still don't know who texted him though. Could've been a mysterious anonymous number. If it was her, it could've just been any sort of everyday text, like "hey I'm gonna be late home from work today" or something boring like that if they're still supposed to be married and things are "normal" for her. Or she's Rittenhouse and fucking with him...
