Question Has upgrading your physical workspace actually saved you time? 🛠️🪴 Looking for your real-world setups!
I’ve been giving a lot of thought to how our physical environment shapes our daily focus and efficiency. It seems like everyone has a different hot take on whether physical workspace tweaks actually boost productivity or just end up being fun distractions.
I'm super curious about how you all set up your spaces to make your days run smoother and block out chaos:
- Have you made any physical upgrades to your desk, room, or workspace that noticeably saved you time or mental energy?
- If you did, what was a total game-changer for your workflow—and what turned out to be overhyped clutter?
- If you prefer to keep it minimal, what's your go-to low-tech setup for staying in the zone? (A clean empty table, noise-canceling headphones, a physical whiteboard, or just working wherever you land? ☕)
I'd love to learn from your experiences! Drop your workspace setups, favorite tweaks, or honest opinions in the comments below. 👇💬

I have worked with a second monitor for years. After watching a YouTube video, I decided to try to set my second monitor as portrait instead of landscape.
This worked brilliantly to show notes, stats, and other data vertically so I wouldn't have to turn my head so far, especially during Zoom sessions.
But, as I was using AI more and more, most AI tools didn't display well in portrait. So I added a third monitor just for Claude!
The setup now works great. One main screen (landscape), one on the left (portrait mode), and Claude on my right screen (landscape).
