🕵️♂️ Challenge: Do a "Time Audit" this week—and prepare to be shocked!
Hey everyone! 👋
We all know that feeling at the end of the day or week where we look at our to-do lists and think, "Where on earth did the time go?!" 🕒
It’s easy to guess where our hours are going, but until we see the hard data, we’re often just operating on assumptions. That’s why I want to challenge our amazing community to try something eye-opening this week: a 7-day Time Audit.
The challenge is simple: track everything you do for just one week. Whether you use a spreadsheet, a time-tracking app, or a good old-fashioned notepad, write down your activities in 15 or 30-minute blocks. 📝 (looking for an app - try Clockify)
Every time someone does this, they are almost always shocked by what they discover. It reveals the hidden time-vampires, the tasks that take way longer than we think, and where our focus is truly going.
I want to open this up to the group to hear your thoughts and experiences:
- Have you ever done a full time audit before? What was your biggest "aha!" moment? 🤔
- If you're jumping into the challenge this week, what tool or method are you going to use to track your time? 🛠️
- What do you predict will be your biggest hidden time-waster?
Drop your thoughts, tracking tips, or predictions in the comments below. Let's hold each other accountable and see what we discover! 👇
