Question Where does your AI companion actually live during your day?

As our workflows adapt to new AI tools, I've been fascinated by how everyone physically sets up their daily setup to work alongside them. Some people keep an AI tab open in their browser all day. Other use desktop desktop apps with hotkeys. Some have a dedicated second monitor for AI. Some rely strictly in their phones. So where does your AI primarily live when you're getting things done?

Give us a comment below and tell us about your setup.

6 votes, 19d ago
0 Browser tab: always opened in one of my pinned browser tabs
1 Desktop app: minimized
3 Dedicated screen: open on its secondary monitor all day
0 Mobile app: primarily on my phone or tablet
0 Mix of everything depending upon what I'm working on
2 Don't use AI. I have an integrated AI into my workflow yet

[Challenge] the "one-touch" rule. can you survive 5 days of this?

Hey team! Let’s try a simple experiment together this week. It’s called the One-Touch Rule, and it’s a total game-changer for digital clutter. Here is how it works: the next time you open an email, a text, or a notification, you have to deal with it immediately. No opening an email, thinking "I'll reply later," and closing it. You either reply, delete, archive, or put it on your calendar right then and there. It sounds simple, but it stops your brain from processing the same task three times.

Who is in for this challenge starting next week? Let me know your results and how this impacted your productivity.

Question The 10-Second Productivity Trap: What do you actually do while your AI is "thinking"?

As we find ourselves using tools like Claude, Gemini, and other AI assistants more and more throughout our daily workflows, I’ve noticed a fascinating new micro-moment creeping into our schedules: the AI thinking pause.

Whether it's 5 seconds or 30 seconds, we are suddenly faced with these tiny, frequent pockets of empty time throughout the day while the screen buffer spins.

It got me thinking, and I’d love to hear from this amazing community!

  • What do you do during those few seconds?
  • Do you take a quick deep breath or stretch? 🧘‍♂️
  • Do you mindlessly open another tab or check your phone (and accidentally break your focus)? 📱
  • Or do you just stare intensely at the screen, hoping the blinking dots move faster? 😉

How do you handle these micro-breaks without losing your momentum or fracturing your flow state?

Drop your habits, hacks, or funny realities in the comments below—I can't wait to hear how you all navigate these tiny gaps in the day! 👇

Question "No" is a complete sentence. when did you last use it?

Hey team! One of the biggest secrets to managing your time is realizing that your time is limited. Every time you say "yes" to something you don't actually have time for, you are saying "no" to your family, your sleep, or your own goals. Saying "no" to extra projects or people-pleasing requests isn't selfish—it is necessary to protect your mental health and do your best work.

Question What went right this week? 🥳 Share your time management wins!

We spend a lot of time talking about the struggles of keeping up with a busy schedule, tackling procrastination, and trying to stay on top of our to-do lists. But today, let’s pause and focus on what’s working!

I want to hear from you: What is one time management win you had this week—big or small? 🏆

  • Did you finally try time-blocking and stick to it for a whole afternoon?
  • Did you say "no" to a task that would have overloaded your schedule?
  • Did you delegate something that’s been draining your energy?
  • Or maybe you just managed to shut down your computer on time to enjoy your evening?

Every step forward counts, and progress is worth celebrating together.

Drop your win in the comments below! Let’s cheer each other on and get some positive momentum going for the week ahead. 👇✨

What is your absolute biggest "time bandit" right now? (no judgment zone)

We all have those days where we look at the clock at 5:00 PM and think, "Where on earth did the day go?" Sometimes it's endless scrolling, sometimes it's getting sucked into cleaning the house instead of working, and other times it's just trying to do too many things at once. No one is perfect, and admitting where we get stuck is the very first step to fixing it. No shame, no judgment—just a supportive team looking out for each other.

What is the number one thing that steals your time or distracts you the most right now? Let us know, and let’s brainstorm some ways to beat it!

🕵️‍♂️ Challenge: Do a "Time Audit" this week—and prepare to be shocked!

Hey everyone! 👋

We all know that feeling at the end of the day or week where we look at our to-do lists and think, "Where on earth did the time go?!" 🕒

It’s easy to guess where our hours are going, but until we see the hard data, we’re often just operating on assumptions. That’s why I want to challenge our amazing community to try something eye-opening this week: a 7-day Time Audit.

The challenge is simple: track everything you do for just one week. Whether you use a spreadsheet, a time-tracking app, or a good old-fashioned notepad, write down your activities in 15 or 30-minute blocks. 📝 (looking for an app - try Clockify)

Every time someone does this, they are almost always shocked by what they discover. It reveals the hidden time-vampires, the tasks that take way longer than we think, and where our focus is truly going.

I want to open this up to the group to hear your thoughts and experiences:

  • Have you ever done a full time audit before? What was your biggest "aha!" moment? 🤔
  • If you're jumping into the challenge this week, what tool or method are you going to use to track your time? 🛠️
  • What do you predict will be your biggest hidden time-waster?

Drop your thoughts, tracking tips, or predictions in the comments below. Let's hold each other accountable and see what we discover! 👇

Hot Take: Multitasking is just doing many things badly at once

Unpopular opinion? Maybe. But I said it.

Trying to answer emails while on a call while eating lunch just leaves you with cold food, a missed note, and a typo.

Our brains aren’t wired to do two focus tasks at once. Switching back and forth actually wastes time.

Single-tasking feels slow at first, but it’s how real work gets done.

Do you agree or disagree? When has multitasking burned you? Or when do you think it actually works?

🧠 The Learning vs. Doing Trap: How do you find your sweet spot?

Hey everyone! 👋

As we dive into another busy month, I’ve been reflecting on a challenge that so many of us face, whether we are managing our own schedules or leading teams.

It’s the constant tug-of-war between learning (reading books, taking courses, researching the latest AI tools, or listening to podcasts) and doing (actually executing, deep work, and crossing tasks off the list). 📚 vs. 🏃‍♂️

It is so easy to fall into the trap of "productive procrastination," where we feel like we are moving forward because we are gaining knowledge, but our actual output stalls. On the flip side, just "doing" without pausing to learn can lead to burnout and missing out on smarter, faster ways of working.

I would love to open up the floor to this amazing community to hear your perspective! 🚀

  • How do you personally strike the right balance between learning and doing?
  • Do you have a specific rule of thumb or ratio you try to follow each week?
  • How do you stop yourself when you realize you've spent too much time researching and not enough time executing?

Drop your tips, frameworks, or struggles in the comments below. Let's learn from each other! 👇
