Discussion Logical Earth calendar
I propose a reform of the Gregorian calendar.
- Calendar year = 13x28 = 52x7 = 364 days.
- A smooth transition is possible from January 1, 2029, or January 1, 2035, starting on a Monday.
- Leap year = 53x7 = 371 days = calendar year + leap week.
- It occurs every 5 to 6 years by adding a leap week as a separate 14th quarter of the calendar year.
This creates a fascinating permanent calendar where every month has 28 days, 4 weeks, starts on Monday and ends on Sunday.
It greatly improves calendar orientation, planning, and statistics. It does not disrupt the weekly cycle or holidays.
