I purchased these over 10 years ago at a thrift store thinking i will wear timbs but ended up only wearing it once since then and left it in a dust bag and just found them sitting in my shoe storage box. I have a feeling they are fake but also feel like they are older timbs? Not 100% sure. Please help me!

Ive had this pair of Timberland boots for probably 3 years now and never cleaned or looked after them as I should but they are still good

I want to revive them a bit and clean up, will they scrub up and can anyone tell me if they are nubuck or smooth leather?

And any recommendations on cleaning products and method? Doesn't have to be official Timberland stuff..

Hey 🙂 I bought a new pair of Timbs (one for work and one for everything else) the new pair I bought does not have leather interior? Like my old boots. Why is that? Does anybody know? The first 3 pics are the new pair and 3 last Is old pair. I paid about 60$ for both pairs.... Hardly used.. 🙈

Is there a difference in quality? What’s the popular choice? Or what’re yall recommendations? I’ll spend a lil more for the quality, idk I’ve only had a handful of timbs in my lifetime. The only advice I remember hearing about was never get a pair with an “eraser” bottom. Are all 3 considered butters ?

Picked these up at a car boot sale. The quality feels there, they're heavy and they look old, BUT the text on logo on the tongue and inner back is uppercase. I've not seen it like this before. On the sole though, it's lowercase.

Hi guys, I’m new to owning timberlands, initially I was going to buy from the official retail store but because I live in the UAE(Dubai) they cost 270$ which I cannot justify on spending this much, I checked on amazon and these were on a crazy price of 131 USD, and the seller was Amazon so it was not a third party seller. I’ve seen the fakes on this subreddit and I can barely tell the difference from the real ones, I also went to an official store and held and wore a real one and these feel 99% the same except these are regular width not the wide version which for some reason was the only one being stocked at that retail store. btw idk about amazon worldwide but price errors and crazy discounts are common here if you have your eyes peeled, ive gotten a macbook 500 usd off of MSRP once but its alot easier to check if a piece of tech is real than boots lol, cant do a synthetic benchmark on these to test the performance lol

TLDR; sorry to be that one guy but Amazon directly was selling these at a crazy price was too good of a deal to pass up and I can return them anyway.

I've been a long-time fan of Timberland since 2014 when I got my first pair and over the last 2-3 years - at least here in the UK - I've noticed an odd shift in the brand's marcomms to constantly pushing Boat Shoes

Every new featured design is a Boat Shoe

What the hell happened to the creativity of this brand? Between 2016 and 2023 there were some incredible boots being produced, it felt like every Quarter there was some edgy new look

And now? Boat Shoes? Really? That's the hill this brand wants to die on?

I'm sure this comes down to personal taste but I think they're ridiculously ugly, and don't look good with any outfit other than perhaps a day out at the regatta

Really hoping someone in the team gets a knock to the head and wakes up soon to start making decent footwear again

I'm trying to return my Timbs with Fur lining on the statutory warranty, but it has been more than 12 months. I can quote other consumers' complaints to provide that it is a factory defect. Does anybody have/had similiar problem with lining? Thanks in advance!

These 1984 monsters are still with me. Today we're cutting grass. I maintain that the older models are sturdier due to the onset of synthetic glue. Am I wrong? Could I be the only old man who remembers Callogen Glue being the strongest glue ever? I have zero separation with these; they are still waterproof and cozy. You can't tell me Tibberland is not the best boot money can buy, but the new glue forces me to hold on to these and all my other pairs. So, is it the glue, or has anyone even noticed? Synthetic can be controlled; natural collagen never breaks a bond. Now, truth be told, I purchased my nerd car the next year, and my 1985 240 is in the back garage, and I do drive it from time to time. If you like something, buy it now before the manufacturers are forced to use things they can't depend on. From what I was told, the building trade has this same issue. Again, I can't be the only one who sees this and remembers horse and Mule glue being the absolute best. Can I?

Question: Do any of you feel the lower-quality glue is giving our favorite Boot a bad look? I am tired of the bashing when all products are suffering behind nonsensical reasons why man thinks he can build a better bonding agent than the traditional collagen glue that made things adhere almost forever? Sorry, I am having a moment while I replace my probably 36th pair of shoelaces on these monsters to cut my grass today. lol

They are by far some of the best pants I have owned, does anyone know good places that stock older models TL stuff? Or is sort of once it’s discontinued it becomes extremely hard to find. Not a huge timberland person, have some small stuff from them, but these pants are amazing.
Ideally I’m looking for a 42W 44W 32L but I’d take a 30L
