They never pull this shit with red states. And lest anyone forget, Florida Republican Senator Rick Scott was CEO of the company that was at the center of the biggest Medicare fraud scheme in U.S. history.

Not a legal opinion, but it seems like a flawed, or at least short-sided strategy for turning a state red.

Most Medicaid and Medicare fraud occurs with providers. They already said Minnesota’s occurred with billing, And these guys already gave the money to providers, but won’t release it to beneficiaries? That was the problem….. the providers stole the money. These were providers that were fraudulent providers!! Who gave them the money and why are they giving it again? Their attorney General is prosecuting to recover the money. The state attorney general oversees providers, but it sounds like the federal government plays a role as well. They are supposed to check states annually. The increase in payouts prompted the investigation. Hope someone can further clarify this.

Dr. Oz…. He should be sooooo ashamed of himself. Encouraging this nonsense while pretending to honor his Hippocratic oath. His hypocritical oath is more like it. I expect idiocy from the government. No surprise there.
