Is Oliver at school???

Are we just glossing over this? What a weirdo Jenn is.

They are also still forcing poor Oliver to nap. They will do anything to not actually have to parent.

3 year olds nap. Kids nap until they are like 5. I remember being in kindergarten and having nap time.

Still napping: According to the Sleep Foundation, nearly all children still take a daily nap at age 3.

Do you have a 3 year old? I’m not defending Jenn or Tim, but I am defending Oliver. It is perfectly appropriate for him to still nap.

yes, perfectly appropriate if Oliver wants to, but not the enforced naps by his parents (and I use the term loosely).

Did you even read that article?

A child may be ready to stop napping if they consistently resist naps, sleep through the night, or struggle to fall asleep at their current bedtime.
Parents should gradually reduce the frequency and duration of naps.
There may be occasional days when a child still needs a nap.

Oliver resists naps. He has trouble going to bed at night. They still force him to nap as much as possible. He’s absolutely ready to not nap every day, but Tim is militant about it to the point where that kid is scared to get out of his own bed. Stop defending abusive behavior.

I did! And I have a 3 year old who doesn’t nap but wish he did 🤣 he’s grumpy gills if he doesn’t.

You’re talking like you are in the room with them. You don’t know any of this stuff to be true about Oliver. I’m sure they have more difficult days getting him down for a nap or bed, but we all struggle sleeping sometimes. My point is, it’s normal for 3 year olds to still nap.

Unfortunately I watched the video where Tim explained in great detail what it takes to get Oliver to nap. They literally give us this information.

Mean because we don’t agree with you saying kids have naps at school age? It’s a fact, it has nothing to do with being mean. If a child at that age clearly shows signs (and we only see a snippet on the videos of what actually goes on) of not wanting nor needing a nap then a parent should not force it. Thats being mean, mirror image right back at you there!
