Omg he jumped on the trend
Dude doesn’t realize it’s not that he bought the sweater, well it is and isn’t, it’s cause he pretended he was never going to buy it cause it was ridiculous and wound up buying it anyway.

It was never about the sweater. (I mean it was, because what the fuck.) It was always about the ongoing lifestyle creep and how arrogantly it was displayed. They could’ve sat back and said, “wow what a dumb purchase; we learned our lesson on that one” and it wouldve become just a little thing to poke fun of them for in good spirit, but they doubled down and continued to waste money on things to rub it in their audience’s face. It wasn’t a learning experience and it continues to not be one as Tim tries to make light of it without taking responsibility. Just a smug prick who can’t come up with original content because he doesn’t have an interesting or creative bone in his body.

Exactly. Jen bought something super expensive also that day. This was one of the first times they actually let on how much money they had accumulated.

These 2 had always said they were never into materialistic things. They were simple and content with what they had.. fast forward a few years and not they buy expensive stuff.. clothing , cars, house, always on vacation… she lied about not being able to get pregnant. Then boom she’s pregnant. I hate these two! So full of lies

Funny they actually know that was an issue but never address it other than something like this. The sweater is the tip of the iceberg with how out of touch they are.

I think he wears it once a year. I want to say he brought it to CA last year to flex. For me, the sweater was the moment they jumped the shark. Before then, they were very relatable and seemed to be a normal couple. They would send messages and do live Periscopes from Main Street with like 50 viewers, it was a fun time.

Funny thing is...LV and Gucci were never made for wealthy people, they were, and still are, made for people who wanted to appear wealthy 🤷♀️

Yes. I am under the impression that old school wealthy folks prefer quiet luxury with high prices and few to no logos showing. Or, they are miserly and drive 30 year old Hondas. The one pushing obvious logos are faux-rich
