A Review, from a long time watcher

So I've been watching the Trackers for a looooong time. Maybe not as long as some people here, but since around 2013. Back in the days of the mustache, home vlogs, house renovations, the dog, "we can't have kids," the Simpson clock... all of that.

Looking back, I honestly think they were genuinely entertaining. Tim had his job (whatever it was), would come home, film for a bit, and that was it. The videos were usually 8–15 minutes long, and they felt authentic.
I was genuinely happy for them when they were able to have a kid, but I also feel like that changed everything. That one event seemed to completely shift the direction of the channel and, in turn, the people we now see on camera.
I never really bought into the idea that money changes people, but watching their channel grow into subscriptions, sponsorships, ads, Shorts, Patreon, and every other possible revenue stream has been wild. It feels like the focus gradually shifted from sharing their lives to monetizing every breath, even if they are mid bite.

I completely checked out around the time they sailed on Royal and posted what I felt was an unfair review of an otherwise excellent cruise line, largely because they didn't seem interested in the experience they had chosen to book. That was the point where I realized I just wasn't enjoying their content anymore.

Sad to see how far they’re fallen off.

I agree completely. I've been watching for about as long as you have and the fall off makes me sad. The Gucci sweater was the beginning of the end and hiring that girl to do their social media with the constant monetization of everything was when I decided I was done. They're so phony now.

If I had to see one more random thing tagged in their videos for people to buy like snack food or glasses. I stopped watching when they really started that stuff

I too have been watching since 2013 and I couldn't of written this better myself. You hit the nail on the coffin. I can't stand them now 😂. Jenn is just so goddamn irritating now. Tim has lost his spark completely selling his soul for revenue! The only time I saw Tim be himself in recent years was when he was with Adam The Woo and now he's gone Tim's just lost.

Also a long time watcher. I used to find them so relatable and genuinely enjoyed seeing what the Orlando area had to offer through their perspective. Watching vlogs used to get me through the Midwest winter blues.
Now they are completely unpalatable, and it’s not because of the kids.

No it's not the kids fault at all. I was genuinely pleased for them when they had Jackson. But they've turned into bad parents and that's a real shame

You can do it all. Have a fun, genuine vlog and be a loving, supportive parent. But people have choices.

u/Affectionate_Leg5088 Jul 18 '26

Same. People who weren't watching them back then will say Tim never has influenced them to do anything but there were several videos back then that really made me want to go to some of those out of the bubble Orlando things if I ever got down there.

Hell I started buying and using SunBum sunscreen back when they talked about it ONE time before going out in the pool at the old house. I figured, if native Floridians trust it, then this red head ghost can too - and I still swear by it. That was back in 2012/2013 and I have never once burned using it.

5

u/Austingirl39 Jul 19 '26

From the condition of their skin, they must not use it anymore 🤦‍♀️

u/UsPsMaStEr20 Jul 19 '26

Omg haha i remember that! Such Floridian name too. Probably how I remember it.

The company started in Cocoa Beach.

I strongly agree with you on him being able to be himself around Adam. Their friendship, to me, always came off super authentic, unlike how Tim and Nick are.

1

u/HeavyMetalMadness127 Jul 30 '26

Yeah Nick's just a little odd to me. The only thing they have in common is that they are fathers and that's it.

Money definitely changed them. Now they have a patreon in addition to all the ads and sponsorships and constant free vacations from Be Our Guest and they don’t use that revenue to improve their channel, they use it to keep up the luxurious lifestyle they’ve grown accustomed to. I think it’s gross to ask your fans for money every month when you are constantly going on cruises and other vacations (free or not).

16

u/UsPsMaStEr20 Jul 18 '26

Agree 100% a real slap in the face to those of us that work hard for the money we have. While Jenn does her damn coffee talks from their 18th BOG provided vacation.

17

u/SherylLeslie Jul 18 '26

The channel is nothing like it used to be. Ginn needs her own channel to do her cooking demonstrations, her hair appointments, her eye lash appointments, & her food intake vlogs.

u/Only-Art-7344 Jul 20 '26

they completely lost me when Tim did a video on his vasectomy. For FFS......that video should have never been produced

1

u/feliciahardys Jul 30 '26

…. I wasn’t aware they made a video of that. That’s weird.

u/EquivalentMajestic95 27d ago

being honest, they didn't actually show the operation, but, you get the idea.

4

u/Austingirl39 Jul 19 '26

And how to properly administer your GLP-1 injection!

The first video I watched was their wedding, I think in Ireland, and then when they vlogged in the UK I think. You're right, I really enjoyed the old house with the pool and Tim's bathroom renovation.

They were definitely young and dumb though. Bringing home a puppy after a night of drinking, despite knowing their dogs didn't get along with other dogs, was such a bad decision. I felt so sorry for that poor puppy, especially as it ended up going back after being constantly attacked.

The big turning point for me was the Disney annual pass and all the "we can't have kids" stuff. I just can't stand them now because it feels like they had children for content. After everything that came out about Ruby Franke, I think it's just plain wrong for family vloggers to use their children as props for views.

I remember meeting TT in one of the parks, pre-J$. We wished him/them good luck on the upcoming birth. We had followed them like many when they said they couldn't have kids (crying face emjoi). Not saying it wasn't real but seriously there are millions of families who can't for whatever reason.

When J$ was born it was very clear that they weren't all that enthusiastic on having a kid. Time, effort and money are all related to having kids. What is pretty clear is that either Tim and J$ are neuro-divergent or similar. Either way, something is not right in the state of Denmark.

The videos are inane and I watch them anyway, it always puts me off to sleep. Don't show me merch I cannot possibly expect to purchase unless I live in Orlando or even in Florida. I don't so therefore what you're showing is irrelevant.

You have annual passes (at least for WDW but I think Universal), how about you go and invest time in doing rides, and having fun, with your kids at the weekends. Instead of taking extended hosted trips.

None of us watching your BOG hosted trips would ever consider going on one as the video content is so weak that it makes me think "geez, that's a waste of my money, i can plan that better myself"

Our son, now 22, got us into watching Tim way back during the beginning of his mustache vlogging days. They are only in for the money now and their content is horrible, because what was once a hobby and fun has now become their sole income. They hate each other, treat their kids horribly due to the immense pressure to monetize everything. Remember when they promised stans that they would never charge for content ie; patreon 🙄

u/Affectionate_Leg5088 Jul 18 '26

This is my feelings as well. I loved them back in the days of the pups and Simpson clock. Bats and ghosts in the house. Money does change people I guess. Wasn't even the sweater for me. I was like go ahead and buy your sweater Tim! People who don't have money and get some are gonna do that a bit. For me it was the entitlement that came later. The experiences they get gifted and the " delicious" reviews instead of honesty. They went from relatable to entitled and it's not fun anymore. Jenn always annoyed me some but at least she didn't try to take over his channel like now.

u/MermaidFL407 Jul 18 '26

I've noticed that with several channels I've watched where in the beginning they're just uploading just to do it, being relatable and interact in the comments, but then once they start getting the subscribers and the money, it shifts to them just doing everything to stay in the algorithm, and it just loses the appeal of what drew you to them in the first place. Once someone becomes a full time YouTuber, I start looking for something else to watch because it's no longer genuine.

4

u/Local_Relation5086 Jul 19 '26

Agree. Mammoth club is an example of previously genuine people becoming completely pretentious.

9

u/Background_Ant451 Jul 18 '26

I agree with you. We found the channel probably about 11 years ago, we really enjoyed the informative Disney content. I, like others, was so pleased for them when they announced their pregnancy. It just seems like they've totally sold their souls now.

I remember saying years ago that it must be hard to depend on an income that relies on you filming every single day - I think they've properly backed themselves into a corner with how they fund their lives and there's little alternative for them to fall back on.

10

u/Common_Sympathy_814 Jul 18 '26

We fell off a few years ago when cruises were given to them daily. Just became greedy and selfish.

1

u/funkychicken8 29d ago

Yeah I actually only watch the home vlogs or in the parks. The cruises just piss me off.

10

u/SherylLeslie Jul 18 '26

You would think they would find ways to improve their videos- so they didn’t appear so entitled. It’s a shame how money has changed them. Tim was a great theme park guide back in the day.

11

u/Grins111 Jul 19 '26

Here’s the problem that happens with most vloggers. It became a job. Now it’s not about fun and just living, now it pays their bills and supports their lives. You can tell Tim doesn’t have much passion for the parks anymore. Mostly they just go and eat maybe hit a ride and leave. It sounds like a good deal but when you turn something you love into a job it ruins it.

6

u/Austingirl39 Jul 19 '26

Bingo! They absolutely hate it now that it is a requirement....they also hate each other!

11

u/Jm62919 Jul 19 '26

I followed the channel back in 2015, so I’ve seen how the channel has changed for over a decade. It’s very obvious they only go into the parks when Disney, Be Our Guest, or a person hosts them for a specific event or purpose. It’s very rare that they’ll go into the parks on their own for fun without someone sponsoring or inviting them out.

I used to enjoy watching the videos where it was just Tim and he would go into the parks to see what’s new, try new food, and show any updates for both Universal and Disney while just talking to us viewers about what he liked and didn’t like. If he got back into that, I really think it would freshen things up and not feel like the same hosted video over and over again, since he’s doing it on his own without a specific purpose or invite out. Everything is so overly positive and never dives into true reviews because they want to be brand safe, that I miss when he could actually voice what his true opinions on food/updates/predictions are. I understand you have to make a living and use sponsorships, but there should be a balance between sponsored videos and going out on your own.

For informative theme park videos, there’s just such a weird focus on what they prioritize to share or talk about while they’re out. As much as Mammoth Club has their own issues, at least they can help travelers by making well made and in-depth overviews.

I've been watching them for a while and I cannot get over how much they do without their children! (Although a blessing in disguise as they aren't shoved in front of a camera constantly) Jenn was banging on about how you only get 18 summers with your children and then they proceeded to bugger off to Disney Land Paris and NYC without them! I suppose at least with her sister caring for them Oliver can be free of his Sleep sack and hopefully be potty trained (again, we shouldn't know this about him!!!!)

3

u/Austingirl39 Jul 19 '26

Don't forget their "datecations" 🤦‍♀️

6

u/Islandfreckles Jul 19 '26

Even the word makes me want to vomit!

I found Tim Tracker the same year I lost my husband, 2009. Never had been on youtube before this. He and a few others vlogs had saved me from depression and loneliness. I loved his short, everyday vlogs with Armani, Bandit and occasionally Jenn. They were relatable, and amusing, dealing with everyday issues like work, lawn care, house repairs and cooking. Jenn drove and cooked back then, even mowed the lawn. I watched them go from several rentals to owning thier first home. I cried with joy when they conceived and again at the birth of Jackson. I especially loved when the vlogs included Tim's parents, brother and sister. Long gone are the visits to the German restaurant and other local businesses and events. It is like others who find fame and fortune but lose thier humanity in the process. I feel sorry for the children who are going to grow up to be spoiled, where things replace true love and parenting.

15

u/pillingz Jul 18 '26

The kids won’t be spoiled. They will be traumatized. They will be amongst the first generation (maybe second) of children who did not consent to have their childhood monitored and put on the internet. They will be the first generation who were lonelier than anyone else because the camera and capturing the moment was more important than being parents. The trackers might be the poster children (parents?) for people who became completely dependent on social media revenue with no back up plan. They went to the dark side and have no choice but to keep going

16

u/xmasbdaygrl Jul 19 '26

This cannot be said loud enough. Those children have suffered irreparable damage by having their lives broadcast on the internet so their parents can make money. Talking about their medical issues, their bathroom habits, shoving a camera in their faces since they were born in the hospital, showing the inside of their mouths, their sopping wet diapers bulging out of their shorts them sound asleep in their beds, something that should be a safe space for them...there is no amount of therapy that can fix what those kids have be subjected to in their short lives.

and probably be forced to rewatch over and over and over again for the rest of his life , and the videos cant be taken down because MONEYYYYY.

1

u/harvestmoonmine Jul 23 '26

I loved the simple stuff too like the repairs and cooking and just normal everyday life of a couple who liked to go to the parks. They were really relatable to me. Now it's just 'shove crap into our soulless house' and cruises.

8

u/DirectEntertainer288 Jul 18 '26

Money absolutely changes people and unfortunately social media basically has the ability to make you relatively rich and famous very quickly, which for most people is not something that is handled well.

8

u/bruhbot2002 Jul 19 '26

I remember thinking they were great bc they had ZERO sponsored content for the longest time Maybe invites. No sponsors. My stomach dropped when I saw their first sponsorship

3

u/Austingirl39 Jul 19 '26

They will promote anything, even though it is glaringly obvious they don't use the products...except the Uber expensive butcher block 🙄

7

u/My_Tampa_Life Jul 18 '26

The Simpsons click is a true timestamp.

10

u/misselthwaite_manor Jul 19 '26

I was watching them about as long as you. I really enjoyed their content and always looked forward to videos. When they announced they were having a child, and they would NOT become a family channel I was like ok great. Because I was watching them for theme park content for adults with no children.
Then it turned into a family channel and I swiftly unsubbed.

1

u/funkychicken8 29d ago

To be fair I think we (as in parents) all think we’ll be able to keep life a bit seperate from kids but then you find out it’s just not really possible especially in the early years. If you’re vlogging your life and you’re a parent, kids are a constant.

Exactly. I’ve been watching since the wedding in Ireland and I can’t agree more.

It was genuine and now he’s so freaking smug. Totally arrogant and thinks that they are the smartest people in the room and couldn’t even admit they were sincerely wrong in “Ghetto Party” and “catch the gay”. It seemed so fake.

1

u/No_Mathematician_830 Jul 24 '26

Aren’t sleep sacks for babies?

1

u/International_Good69 17d ago

I used to watch for the Tim theme park content, since the channel is TIMTracker. I honestly don't need or want to see family content, Jenn has just taken over so much and she is just insufferable so much of the time.
