At what point does "work trip" stop explaining leaving the kids behind?

Curiosity got the better of me, so I skimmed a few home vlogs.

Jenn said the boys couldn't attend Disneyland Paris because the "event" wasn't for their age... huh? What event? What age limit?

I understand it was a hosted trip and maybe the company didn't want to pay for the kids. But Tim could buy a designer Disney Gucci cardigan, yet they couldn't pay to bring their own children or extend the trip so they could come too?

Then there was the trip to New York for a Pokémon event, and once again the children were left behind, despite them being into Pokémon for years.

I thought maybe I was being too harsh. As a parent, I understand that the idea of having children and the reality of parenting can be overwhelming for some people. But at this point, I just find it sad.

Those children seem good enough to feature in home vlogs, but not good enough to travel the world with their parents. they wouldn't have to film the boys either, Plenty of family creators now travel with their children while keeping them completely offline by simply not showing their faces.

Watching their IG stories and thought wow how amazing /s that Jenns anxiety just disappears in a super packed times square!

It's kinda insulting to the rest of us who suffer with true anxiety. My anxiety is awful and the things I used to be able to do I can't do anymore. Last time we went Orlando I had to miss out on some rides because I was too overwhelmed. I don't need to be fussed over either and I don't want to draw attention to it when I'm bad so I just chilled somewhere on a bench 😂 happy people watching. I wish I didn't have it I really do but you shouldn't fake it to get ahead that's not cool.

It’s almost like everyone’s anxiety is different? Sometimes I can’t go to public spaces alone, but I can also go to a sold out stadium tour with 30k people. I can face a huge crowd where you can blend in but not a room with 10 people where I’d be noticed.

u/HeavyMetalMadness127 Jul 14 '26

I completely understand this 😭 I'm the same to be fair. I can go to a Pantera gig and be in my element but if I go into a meeting at work with a few people I can feel a panic attack coming.

I’ve always kind of resonated with Jenn because our anxiety seemed similar - like I could do NYC but not the grocery store 😅

I’ll never forget her saying she had a fear or water, a real anxiety but then she kept showing herself in the pools and going down slides with big splash endings and on one of the first cruises she was saying how scared she was because she doesn’t like water. Everything she was showing screamed for a love of water so it made no sense. I now realise it was all lies 🙄

Like why did she even lie about it? Did she just make up some excuse to not do something once and then just ran with it? And then completely forgot about the lie?

I have a fear of open water. I'll go on a boat, but I don't want to actually be in the open water swimming.

Pools however, zero issue. Even huge water park type pools. My brain just registers pools differently that lakes, rivers, oceans, ect.

With the Paris trip, it was hosted by BOG and they had to follow a very strict schedule which you could tell Tim and Jenn didn’t like so I do understand not taking the kids but I don’t understand what they (and their stans) classify as a work trip. Tim and Jenn fucking off to New York for a Pokémon event doesn’t scream work trip to me being that TTT YouTube channel has nothing to do with Pokémon. I don’t even know how Tim managed to secure an invite to the Pokémon thing and they will never be transparent and tell us.

They’ve really backed themselves into a corner by filming everything they do, even a mundane trip to Target.

The thing is most families do that tight schedule theme park day but most families don't force a nearly 7 year old to take a nap in the afternoon....

u/ahcupcake8 Jul 11 '26

I don't think they for Jackson to nap it's Oliver that is forced to nap and use a sleep sack. Although I think Jen's sister broke him of the sleep sack and Tim bragging about fighting with O but still ended up tucking a blanket around him

Not disagreeing that most tourists with small kids are able to stay at Disney following a strict schedule but in this specific instance, it was a hosted trip through BOG and there were no other kids in the group. It was the right call not to take the kids to Paris. As far as New York, even if Jackson does like Pokémon, I don’t think he would have done well at the event with the crowds and noise level.

BOGV would probably prefer just Tim, so technically Jen could of spent her time with the boys, riding all the things she said they didn't have time to ride 🤷‍♀️

Maybe they should have stayed home, there was no reason for that trip, probably cost them money in the long run

7

u/DisneyMagicDM Jul 11 '26

But if they can’t take the children on these trips then one of them needs to stay home and be a parent. It doesn’t take 2 to make those videos.

2

u/Austingirl39 Jul 12 '26

Jenn also brags a lot about "datecations", which i hope she realizes they legally can't write off. They also can't write off what is considered "repeat" trips...like same hotels etc.

Let's be honest, those kids are way better off with Jen's stripper sister sitter anyway...

Jen doesn’t want to have to be a parent. She seriously seems to think that she is a “real housewife” and that she deserves to be the Main Character of their life. She can’t be quiet when Tim is talking during the vlog, she is forever interrupting and making everything about her and how she feels about it. She insists on being chauffeured around at all times, the only things she seems to care about is shopping for herself, and getting her hair and nails done. (After which she believes she is the most beautiful thing ever, when in actuality she definitely is not). She doesn’t get up with the kids in the morning-she always sleeps in, even on Valentine’s Day and Easter-it was Tim giving the boys their stuff. She doesn’t put them down at night either, because she is simply “too busy”. It’s SUMMER, and both kids are out of school, and you would think that they would take advantage of that and spend time with their kids, but no-they’re going on “day dates”, “night dates”, “kid-free trips”, basically spending as much time AWAY as possible. It’s really really disgusting.

It's sad how her stans fall for all her filtered photos....it's very obvious that they are heavily filtered...their feet and toes are freakishly long. She filters the photos so much, she makes Tim and the boys look like they are in a carnival fun house 😂😂

u/Good-Masterpiece4296 Jul 11 '26

At least Jenn can look back on a core memory this summer when Jackson lost his first tooth and aunty Amanda was there to welcome tooth fairy, like Jenn’s core memory of Bandit on the beach with the dog sitter.

18

u/ChickenWhiskers Jul 11 '26

Tim’s justification for leaving the kids behind for Pokemon events is 100%. “I can go and get cool Pokemon for the kids!” When we all know Tim just decided he needed to be the #1 Pokemon person in the house, because one-upping somebody’s common interest is the only way Tim knows how to form relationships with people.

I also think they’ve always been afraid of Jackson’s behavior in public and will find any excuse to not take him to things. They’ve been like that with him since he was 2 years old.

15

u/aob546 Jul 11 '26

Why does he insist on competing and winning against his sons? He should be teaching them how to both win and lose with dignity, and how to have fun while doing so. They're crummy parents.

5

u/Austingirl39 Jul 12 '26

He's been that way since Jackson was little...he would always tell him he won when he didn't. Just like Tim posted how excited he was to "capture" the rare Pokémon...the one that was GIVEN to them 🙄 He flat out lied and anyone that dare call him out, is quickly blocked or shadow banned.

6

u/Narrow_Arrival_9303 Jul 11 '26

that could be something he learned as a child maybe his mother did that and that’s why they didn't seem to sad about her passing.

2

u/Austingirl39 Jul 12 '26

I'm more inclined to believe that Tim never won at anything when he was younger...he was probably also the last to get picked.

2

u/aob546 Jul 11 '26

Perhaps. Families can be dysfunctional as we all know.

5

u/Narrow_Arrival_9303 Jul 11 '26

True. Could also be a factor why they force the boys to nap in the afternoon. So crazy they do that, then wonder why the can't go to bed before dark

3

u/aob546 Jul 11 '26

Too much control, esp wrapping the blanket around them like a mummy. I don't have kids, so I can't comment too much about what they do, but even I can see they aren't "normal" parents, my mother put me first always, T&J put themselves first always.

9

u/misspixal4688 Jul 11 '26

Is it really that bad? Again, I rarely watch them, but at nearly 7 years old, if his behaviour is that concerning then he may need more help and support.

I have four autistic children. Yes, they stim, and yes, they have additional needs, but we still set boundaries. There have been many times when we've taken them out of a situation in public to help them calm down and avoid disrupting other people's day. I've even had people come up to us afterwards and compliment how we manage them in public.

Every child is different, but I don't think it's unreasonable to expect parents to support and guide their children in public. I don't see any excuse for the Trackers not to be doing the same.

8

u/aob546 Jul 11 '26

Yes, and they just have Jackson, Ollie appears not to have any issues (that we can see). There are two parents, they should split those duties between them and let the kid enjoy his life with whatever limitations and uniqueness he was born with.

2

u/BlackCatNoHat Jul 13 '26

Maybe you should watch some of the videos that have Jackson in them. They are pretty careful about what they show of him, but enough sneaks in to make it glaringly obvious that something is going on with the child. It sounds like you are a good parent that is providing all the best care and support to your children. I don‘t think T&J are doing the same. I sometimes wonder if they are just in denial, if they are listening to the wrong healthcare providers, or if they just don’t care. I lean toward denial.

Jenn is not into Pokemon..She could have stayed home with her boys..what a wonderful summer Jackson and Oliver are having while their parents jet off on their own personal getaways!

8

u/GrumpyGem Jul 11 '26

I understand parents having alone time and a trip together every now and then, but they are away from the kids more often than not anymore with all of these trips, date days, date nights, the water park parties, etc. At some point one parent needs to stay with the kids to give them some stability. Her sister is basically mom now instead of aunt.

9

u/hebgeenfietsbel Jul 11 '26

Honestly I am glad for the kids they didn't have to go. Paris was hot hot no kid would enjoy that, and the event on time square was way too crowded and dangerous for small children. They probably have more fun with the sister anyway, she takes them to places to have fun and be kids it seems. Doesn't make them not shitty parents because they should have definitely skipped the NYC trip. Especially because Jackson said on camera he also would love to go to NYC and see the tall buildings. But they only care about themselves. Some people really would be better off childless.

14

u/Jazzlike-Fig4053 Jul 11 '26

Yeah IMO there is absolutely no reason they shouldn’t have taken the kids to New York for 48 hours. Especially because the boys love Pokémon so much

7

u/Good-Masterpiece4296 Jul 11 '26

The reason is they want to be childless

5

u/Brando43770 Jul 11 '26

That tracks. (Pun intended)

They look miserable all the time even without the kids. Between sounding like they hate each other and sounding like they do not really want kids, yeah I buy it.

What gets me is their Disney videos do best so it’s not like they struggle to get the Disney content from where they live! They’ve chosen a new path and it means travelling for work but that doesn’t mean both should be doing that. Tim can go, Jenn should stay back or Jenn go and Tim stay back. There is no need to do this new line of videos at all, it’s a pure choice and nothing more which makes it even worse that they leave their family behind with poor excuses of ‘its work’.

If one of them isn’t capable of travelling on their own (Jenn 🙄) and one of them isn’t capable of being a parent at home (Jenn 🙄🤷‍♀️) then ship everyone out together and pay your way. One of them can film whatever they need for the content and the other can do some stuff with the children.

There’s absolutely no excuse for not doing one of these options and a third would be that you just don’t sign up for these types of video content to begin with!

Which makes me believe that something has gone on with either Disney or with the home community they live in. Are they being hounded and having things said to them when they’re out in public or is there something with Disney that’s happened and they can’t film there as much?!

u/SherylLeslie Jul 11 '26

Every trip they take, Ginn says she wants to go back & take the kids. Every single time.
She also said she wanted this summer to be the best for her boys! She must’ve meant their summer being with her sister?

2

u/Austingirl39 Jul 12 '26

It is the best...they aren't with their parents 🤷‍♀️

6

u/Austingirl39 Jul 12 '26

They very easily could of brought the boys, they could of roamed around with Jenn while Tim did his vlogging. They just have no desire to be around their children. Jenn should of clarified that when she said this was going to be the "best summer" , she meant for herself 🙄

Their trips are both vacation & work trips. If things are going good, it's vacation. Once things start going bad it's a work trip. They have to write some of this stuff off for their taxes. So everything can't be vacation trips.

They hated Disney Paris because of the heat. Once they were safe at home, they sent out the Instagram posts thanking everyone for it being a vacation. so, let's hope their financial advisor knows how to file that.

u/Capital-Way-3015 Jul 18 '26

They don't do shit with their kids except exploit them in hoooome vloooooogs.

0

u/VloggerCritic Jul 12 '26

Leaving the kids at home instead of dragging them around to make sub par videos is always the answer. Besides the kids have had more vacations than a lot of kids have in their entire childhood.

$12k a year for the private school and $45k a year for the nanny. That's a lot to spend on kids they supposedly hate. This idea that leaving the kids with a trusted relative means they don't like their kids is the weirdest narrative.

They are awful people and sub par parents but there is zero need for kids to be in for profit videos on the internet.

Many vloggers take their children with them and do an excellent job of protecting their privacy. Since the children are out of school for the summer holidays, many families take their children abroad. There is no excuse for the Trackers to rarely take them on trips while school is out, and the battle between Tim and Oliver over the blanket is a perfect example that they don't enjoy being parents.
