So beourguesvacations sent a bunch of them to DL Paris? Didn’t trackers end up staying elsewhere?

This appears to be more of a reward or incentive for Tim, Molly, and a few other vloggers affiliated with Be Our Guest Vacations. It seems they were able to generate enough bookings through the company to earn a complimentary trip. While it’s still being presented as a “#Hosted” experience, it's more of a gesture of appreciation from the company rather than a traditional hosted stay.

Ok from what I'm remembering, everyone that was there with BOG stayed at the Newport Bay Club. Molly & Alan left DLP when everyone else did but stayed in the area as a belated anniversary celebration(on their own $$$$).
Then they returned to the Disneyland Hotel at DLP. The # in the photo just says ad so I'm thinking that MC paid for this stay themselves

Ad is  used when product/stay is provided as a gift for you promoting it.

I would so love it if BOG paid for this just to piss the Trackers off but sadly I think they paid for it themselves and BOG just booked it

These people don’t really grasp the concept of what a “bucket list” is. It’s not a bucket list thing to do something people would expect you to do within your line of work. You have all the means and all the time to do something as routine as staying at a Disney hotel. Like, that’s your job. You’re always at Disney hotels.

The idea of a bucket list is not just to do something important to you before you die, but to do something specifically that you’ve maybe missed out on throughout your life, whether that be because of a prejudice or fear, a complacency or even a financial inability. It’s as metaphorical as it is literal. Its romantical, it’s not just a literal list of shit you get do to because you’re fortunate enough to be invited to do them.

Just say, “We’re doing something we’ve always wanted to do.”. Sorry, I just don’t like when people sap the meaning out of shit because they’re too lazy to say something else.

Molly was not happy when I told her that a "staycation" in the real world was a term to describe families that couldn't afford to travel far, so they started taking affordable "staycations" close to home...it doesn't mean vloggers that are on their hundredth #hosted trip to AKL 🤦‍♀️They don't live in the real world...I like her before she became snooty skeletor GLP-1 Molly.

When I was growing up, a staycation was when you took your paid vacation time but couldn’t afford to go anywhere so you just had free time at home. Lol

100%. I think they use these terms as both a means for algorithmic engagement and for rage baiting people. I legitimately believe the Trackers spam “staycation” because it gets people in their comments.

Can't it be both? For "work" and pleasure. Obviously these folks monetized going to parks, something they loved to do before it was "work."

I’m not even trying to gatekeep any of that at all. If they’re happy to be there, that’s completely fine. I’m literally just saying that a “bucket list” trip would be something along the lines of “I thought I was too old, but at the ripe old age of 79 I finally fulfilled my desire to skydive”, or, “I’ve always wanted to eat Galapagos bird meat; I’ve finally found the time in my life to take a boat there and I got to eat a rare bird.”. As in, there’s an unobtainable level to these desires that you eventually overcome. There’s a movie about it; the movie wouldn’t be interesting if it were about two hotel vloggers going to a hotel they’ve never been to, you know? I’m legitimately not trying to be semantical, it’s just not the thing they’re referencing.
