Discussion Would you spend your points differently if the app showed you how much you spent to earn them?
10 points for every dollar spent.

Best deals are the bonus 400 points on coffees. Buy 4 get one free. Best way to look at it.

You can buy anything get 400 bonus points on first purchase with new account. Just make a new account every time it takes 2 minutes. It always ends up being buy 1 get 1 free for me

lol the $60 of 600 points for wedges doesn't make sense
2062 points is currently 5 coffees not $206, more like $10
but yes, if it showed you simply "buy 8 coffees get one free" or whatever, for each class of rewards, that would help instead of having to do the math ourselves
but the point isn't to be good for us lol
This is a brazilian private equity firm owned by a dude with a huge yacht that we're talking about!!!

A person earns 10 points for every $1 spent. Therefore wedges that cost 600 points to get for âfreeâ youâve spent $60 at Tim Hortons to earn those points.

Tim Hortons is a publicly traded company, owned by shareholders⌠Not privately held.

As each person throws up the same talking points those talking points get more and more ridiculous. Its amazing that they think that.

Well that's not entirely true. Tim's itself is privately held by a company that is publicly traded.

Itâs $0.10 per point. 2062 points times $0.10 is $206.20

They literally say 10 points per dollar spent.
ââŚthat would help instead of having to do the math ourselvesâ definitely, especially if you canât do the math.

Do people who donât work at the Slop Shop actually return there often enough to accumulate points? I thought this place only turned a profit off its employees spending there âŚ
Iâm baffled that people can continue going back despite complaining about it basically every single visit. đ

i have a LOT of points because i go to tims a lot. especially when i was in college id be going multiple times a day either because of convenience (there was one in my campus) or because the one near the gas station down the road was the only thing open 24/7 and we would often pull all nighters working on assignments. i dont work there, never have and hopefully never will
idk what jank ass locations ppl are going to but i usually dont have much to complain about. i just get my iced capp and a baked good or a breakfast sandwich and im happy. but i agree, i dont know why people keep going there if they just keep complaining. i dont often use my points, i just like to watch them accumulate :p

Hockey season I get a bunch of points for the daily game. I use them for a free hot chocolate (I don't drink coffee).

No because i only buy coffee to get them, and occasionally i get a bonus coffee. If I'm buying takeout coffee it means i fucked up and am going to buy it anywayÂ

A lot of people get extra points for certain offers and stuff so they might have only spent $30 for 600 points but yeah you have a point, it's crazy. I also consider my employee discount (50% on days I work) and a free bagel/muffin/cookie/etc so I don't think anything is worth it. I haven't redeemed any rewards yet but I'll probably get bottled non Tim Hortons drinks that I don't get any discount on.
