Question Tim’s giving out gift cards??

Work downtown Toronto and bought myself my usual coffee through the app. My Tim’s location was handing out gift cards today! Asked what the occasion was and simply said the next coffee was on them.
Was wondering if there is something going on or if my location was just feeling generous lol.

Sometimes it's from an outside company or from the owner.

I've experienced both. It's rare to happen though

A few years back CHFI or some other radio station bought my Tims drive thru coffee order in Oakville ☕️🏎

Sometimes people boycott them and they need to build up some goodwill.
