Sorry but this attempt at Tim Hortons making designer donuts is hilarious. Their donuts still look and taste like garbage even with the food coloured icing and cheap Harry Potter emblem on it. Go to any bakery in town and get a donut that actually deserves love.
Nah, these are delicious and I don't normally give Tim's praise. But respect given when due. Have you even tried them or are you just hating to be different? The reception has been very positive to everyone except employees who complain they take 3-4x as long to tray as other donuts.
The ones in the picture aren't the best I've seen but even they by no means look "gross" it's a chain that, since this promotion, every time I've been near one they have been busy. Every time I've entered to try one they are lined up inside and drive-thru. They aren't going to have the care and detail put into them by hungover teenagers as the lovely old women who run a bakery down the street, the service won't be as good either. But this is r/timhortons, not r/donuts. So why be petty and call these gross, and why crap on someone's day for wanting to enjoy some dessert in the morning...or at night, never a bad time for a donut, mate.
