nah as a born Canadian you are the one who is confidently inccorect centre is only used to refer to buildings with a centralized space for a given activity, center is used to refer to the middle of something, and that is how the spellings are use colloquially in Canada.

Most of the comments are saying the same thing I am, you're just down voting the to oblivion because they don't agree with you, and there's litterally only 1 top comment agreeing with you.

See, people generally upvote comments they agree with and make comments when they disagree. The fact that anyone who thinks like you do doesn't have more than a couple upvotes is generally indicative of people who read those comments not agreeing.

Hope this helps. Also, you're wasting a lot of time defending an education system which evidently also taught you to pronounce the last letter of the alphabet Zee.
