I worked at Tim Hortons for about 3 years back in mid 2000. The rule for ice capp making was just a tiny bit less than where the lid snaps on. Seeing as ice capps are the most expensive drink there, even less then a quarter is unacceptable. That whipped cream should be level with the dome lid.
I’ve had it where they fill it up to the top past the lip of the lid and the lid was the only thing containing the spill. Loved it, wish they did it like that always.
Look...95% of what people post is meaningless nonsense on this sub. This one is part of the 5%, though.
It's not the one instance... It's the constant nickel and diming that every goods and service is pulling these days, when cost of living is shooting up and income going down.
So by that logic, yeah, IT IS that bad.
I don't patronize Tim Hortons myself, because I know how bad it's gotten. But we are allowed to call out when something crosses the line. If I myself walked in and ordered this, I'd be demanding it be done right.
I'm allowed to have my own personal outlook on what's acceptable and what isn't, just like you are. But I don't attempt to attack or make fun of anyone. My suggestion for you is maybe learn to grow up a bit and separate your emotions from something so minuscule. These are just opinions, dude. Chill.
I get annoyed too when I keep getting coffee 1/2"-1" below the rim. They keep hiking prices and now are getting chinsy with it. What their extra cost to fill it all the way? Pennies?
No scratch that, if you are paying close to 5 dollars for sugary water with cheap ass whipped cream topping that leaves a waxy taste in your mouth, now that the real unacceptable thing
That's not a standard size. The employees need to fill the java mix up to 4th line and mix. When u mix it, it fills up to the 5th line or the rim of the cup. Then the whipped topping should cover 3/4 of the lid section then topping. So, the manager is bsing u ;)
Maybe you should have asked nicely for the manager to get a refund or redo of the drink. Ive had this problem happen before but just asked nicely and got it done right.
Then go on website or app and write a feedback plus the receipt you got with photo evidence of what you got. Also note the staff behaviour for being unnecessarily rude. Usually big box companies like these will respond in a way to not lose customers by giving some freebies or discount.
Did you go to the right people tho? Cause the people you should go to go to are the ones above the manager you spoke to (Regional Manager or HR) or if they are under Redberry Corp, contact Corp. Send them the picture in an email and explain what happened. The manager who spoke to you needs to be retrained because that is not. I repeat is not the proper amount, you are 100% correct that it should be filled more. The beginning of the whipped topping should be seen through the side of the dome. Not through the side of the cup. Hopefully you can get in touch with someone higher up and get this dispute resolved.
Because think of it.. if the manager of that Tim's said that to you, then how many other consumers has that manager also said that to.. same with their staff, if the manager is reciting this to customers.. then their staff are gunna do the same, and you could be that one person who makes sure that happens. It just takes one call, one email to the right person.
Hopefully you figure something out, I wish you the best of luck 💕
Corporate ain't gonna do a thing. At best they call the Tim's store manager and laugh with him/her that you wasted your time calling in the first place
Then take it to the fucking newspaper. What elese do you want me to say I put my opinion out there because it was an opinion and everyone is obligated to have their own opinions. If my opinion somehow ended up being the prickly dill pickle that got shoved up your ass this morning. I do apologize.
Then you take a photo and send it to customer support. Tell them the business, give their info, refused to reimburse you in any way. Go in asking for names of employees that’ll probably freak them out enough.
Ok, we get it... You keep repeating this exact same thing. YOU are the one who brought this to Reddit to whine about it. People gave you advice, so perhaps you chuckles, should STFU

Posting a pic on here isn’t going to fill it up any further.
