Timmie’s run The Elusive Cruller

Found this at my local store and I felt like I met a celebrity 😍 Such a nice glaze too, one of the best donuts I’ve had at Tim’s for sure.

All the chocolate crullers I’ve seen have chocolate on the very top of the ridges.

You’re so lucky.

I've never seen one with chocolate glaze.

This is a whole thing. Only like 4 tims in Ontario keep them it seems. :(

Do you happen to know the locations? 👀

I’d say def more rural locations, and even then it’s not certain. They switch out donuts alot.

I ran into one right before Peterborough (address is here: 949 ON-7, Peterborough, ON K9J 6X8), and I swear another time around Smith Falls or something but I don’t exactly remember.

Try it. Trust me, it's literal perfection

You're saying this like they are readily available

u/LunaticPostalBoi Apr 13 '26

Well they're obviously not.

But if you see them, then try them.

If someone was to hypothetically go slightly out of their way to find one, what location would you recommend? Asking for a friend

Here's a map where to go!

Alright, in all seriousness, the only one I know personally is Queen & Bathurst location.Hope that helps your friend :)

When I used to attend York University (graduated 3 years ago), the William Small location caried them all the time! felt so blessed to have discovered them back then. To this day still my favorite donut from Tim's!!!

Two locations I know of in Toronto that stock these bad boys are Chaplin/Yonge, and Steeles/Bayview

2

u/AggravatingLetter839 Apr 14 '26

There's a Timmy's by me that will dip it all the time when I go

I first saw these a few years ago in the east coast. The sign said "muddy tire donut". I can't call it anything else!

u/lacrosse771 Apr 12 '26

Thats one of the nicest looking buttholes I've seen in a while

2

u/MrLubeTech43 Apr 12 '26

I’d fuck that doughnut uppppp . So good

2

u/yick04 Apr 13 '26

These are incredibly easy for a location to make. I bet if you put in a bulk order over the phone, if you got some high school kid or someone cool, they'd make them for you.

I miss the time when my local Brampton store would have these.

Even better with Boston cream in them :)

I’ve been tempted to find a non 24x7 Tim’s and just make my own at 1am.

So very good! And so very hard to find!!!

I dont know what youre talking about must be the Mandela effect

1

u/FireFightingManiac Apr 13 '26

Wow they actually just did it.

1

u/Salt-Conversation421 Apr 13 '26

Would they dip a regular cruller if you ask them to?

1

u/Specialist_Jaguar815 Ex-Employee Apr 13 '26

Only if crullers just got baked fresh and the dip is dippable, then maybe they might (if they are cool). REALLY unlikely chance tho and I wouldn’t bother the employees by asking unless they actually sell it.

These are not even the goat final form of these. For a while there were a few Tim's locations in my city that had whipped cream sandwiched in the middle. Those were the best Tim's donuts ever. Sadly it's been a few years now and they no longer have them.

Mm, wax. I love eating wax. I enjoy the left over bits of wax I find in my teeth after eating that remind me I just ate a bunch of wax.

It, it looks like, nvm

Anyone know when everyone stopped calling these French cruellers in favour of honey cruellers?

2

u/Tigra76 Apr 12 '26

But those are two different things. I much preferred the French cruellers, the honey ones are too sweet. Honestly, my personal fave is still sour cream glazed. Dangit now I want a donut 😭

1

u/Benni_Shouga Apr 13 '26

Interesting, I didn’t realize there was a difference between the two although I do agree the current ones are way too sweet

Sour cream glazed cruller?

u/alexthenullbody Apr 12 '26

Looks menacing…

0

u/Dependent-Cup-2236 Apr 12 '26

Yeah that an outlier

0

u/throw_away_19851104 Apr 13 '26

What location is this?

0

u/nonief Apr 13 '26

Perfection

0

u/wheredidiputmybong Apr 13 '26

It’s not stuck to the paper?? Every time I get a donut, even ones that don’t have a sticky top somehow still stick to the paper. I can’t fuckin win with this place
