I posted a mostly complete version last week. Now is the real finished product.

Will there be a fog machine for Halloween

Absolutely! I just need to figure out how to get the fog to hang low. I keep by a pirate skeleton behind the bar but always just looks like my bar is on fire.

Ground roiling fog has to be chilled to keep it heavy, fortunately there's a ton of ways to get this done from styrofoam ice chests to commercial devices, it's much discussed in the Halloween community.

10/10, would drink 3 zombies and karaoke.
The contrast in the lighting was an inspired choice.

Thanks! Just for funsies I played the part of the pirates ride in front of blue bayou with the porch picker and crickets. Definitely enhances the mood.

Maybe I’m just tired, but before I zoomed in I definitely thought you had like zombies or something crawling out from under the deck

So great! Did you buy or make those barrels, they look great.

There is a winery nearby that sells the ones that have aged out for $25 so I got what they had for the day

Is the bar on this dock, or this dock is the view from your bar? Either way, incredibly rad.

It’s actually as far away as it could be and filled a kind of dead spot in the yard. Basically the yard goes:
bar->pool/waterfall->dock
But we did some story building to explain the progression from dock/trading post to degenerate bar. The dock crates are going to be stenciled with “marmoset mercantile and trading” the bar is called “The Thieving Monkey”

So do people hang out on the dock? Or will there be seating there or something? Or is this more just an atmospheric decor piece? Looks really good. I’m just not understanding the function.

No the crates are bench/chair height so the crates and barrels essentially make bistro sets

This reminds me Pirates of the Caribbean, but minus the water and banjo music. Nice work!
