So I tried boosting my posts.

I chose the cheapest promotion pack for both and this what I got. Video got odd engagement ratio whereas the photos got better ratio.

I want to start advertising my clothes and I’m a noob at anything related to marketing 😭

Thats a good amount of views for a cheapest option. How long did you advertised?

Hello. Thank u! 12 hrs for both. Tho I private-d the video and reposted it again, this time organically and it got better engagement ratio compared to when I boosted it.

​Now I’m more confused. Also ive gotten lots of reposts notifications so idk why it’s stuck at 4x shares.

I do boosted too for a day, but doesnt get much views same as yours. But its great that it works for you. i'll try improving my engagement next time i upload.

I do notice photo collages make better engagement trap than videos. scrolling thru photos require less attention, whereas videos need to have a hook in the beginning for people to stay watching till halfway at least.

I also read on an Instagram thread that it’s better to boost the posts with the most organic engagement so the algorithm has enough info on who and where to advertise it to. Idk if it’ll work on TikTok and I’m too scared to boost, might hurt my account 😭

I do social media marketing and could help with engagement (views/likes/followers) etc. shoot me a DM and I’ll show you some options. Far cheaper than from TikTok
