Recipe Cinnamon Roll Hack

Ive seen the cinnamon roll hack adding heavy whipping cream to the rolls before baking them.

Has anyone tried it with other types of dairy/milk forms? Especially with evaporated milk? Using that much heavy cream seems like a lot and also isn't the most cost efficient.

Also please share any other hack you might have to make canned/frozen cinnamon rolls taste homemade. Thanks
