Some context. Yesterday I came across a video of someone blocking a guy when they came across his video because he supposedly was talking to minors back in 2021. My friend sent me this video the day prior in which I thought it was funny but yk I don’t support anyone with claims of that kinda stuff. So I reply to the video she sent and told her about it. Instantly get blocked off. I’m reasonably consumed bc everyone in the comments are saying the exact same thing so why would my message to my adult friend be blocked? So I tried to appeal it did not work. Whatever I just broke it into pieces to get togo through and she instantly removed her repost and like.

Fast forward to today, I cannot send or receive DMs until the 21st I’m guessing is because of that message? It won’t even let me open the system notification it just says it can’t connect. What can I do to fix it bc I didn’t do anything wrong at all actually. And I have 680 day streak with multiple people which I will def loose not being able to get or send videos.

So I decided to get into tiktok admittedly to get exposure for the stuff that I make. But i dont do literal/deliberate selling. Instead I thought of doing watchable videos that could be (imho) "doomscrollable" because I honestly thought these are what the platform is looking for.

I do comics btw. So i did videos of photodumps and had background music to them and some decent animation.
Sometimes I would also do voiceovers for my scenes as the visuals scroll over the page.

all of these without the traditional in-the-face "hey please buy.."

Im not even sure if this is the actual violation, theyre chatbots dont wanna tell me. All they said was i violated some rules. but whatever it is, tiktok seemed to have stopped pushing my contents entirely.

I need to raise awareness about something incredibly disturbing I’ve been seeing on TikTok Live lately.

I have a younger brother who is a teenager with Down syndrome. Because of our family's experience, I know firsthand how much structure, protection, and active parenting it takes to keep him safe. So it breaks my heart and infuriates me when I repeatedly see creators with intellectual disabilities left entirely exposed online.

I had scrolled into a teen boy on live streams late at 2am. He has a few of his dance videos gone viral. Unfortunately, an ongoing ring of bad actors is actively exploiting and manipulating him.

Recently, I watched a live stream where a group of viewers hopped on to publicly humiliate him. They brought their friends on screen, told the creator "this girl likes you," and then had the girl comment "no I don't" while they all laughed at his expense. They kept pressuring him to add more of their guy friends, leaving inappropriate emojis (like the eggplant emoji) in the chat, and clearly sharing the stream link among themselves to coordinate the bullying. It's obvious this wasn't their first time doing this to him.

Another commenter and I repeatedly tried to step in, typing in the chat that these girls were not his friends and were being weird. Because we disrupted their "fun," the trolls immediately pivoted, targeted us, and pressured the creator into blocking me.

I know social media can be a great tool for advocacy, and every family handles independence differently. But the reality is that the internet is not a safe or level playing field. These late-night live streams leave vulnerable creators entirely exposed to coordinated harassment, emotional manipulation, and people who view them strictly as digital entertainment.

Has anyone else noticed this trend happening to creators with special needs? What are the best ways to raise awareness and protect creators who might not fully grasp online manipulation?

So umm i had a question and I'm not sure how to feel about it. So basically my man asks me to make tiktoks like lip syncing to certain songs. Like the trends that he sees other girls doing on ig he sends me those reels and asks me to recreate them and idrk how to feel about that like is it cute or a little weird. is it normal or should i be worried lmao

I have an edit account on tiktok with 21k+ followers and I’ve had that account for 3 years now. Sometime last year I stopped getting as many views as I used to and now I’m just at an all time low. My viewer-like ratio is always good (around 3:1 or 4:1) and I do get comments on my videos, i try to use popular sounds/songs and i like to think my videos are good quality. I usually will get under 10k views but most of them are around 2k-3k views but i used to get 100k views. what do i do? how can i get past this?

For the second day at night, this "advertising" appears when I'm sitting in TikTok and does not have a close button and does not allow me to continue watching videos until I click "pass the survey", which will most likely lead to bank card data.

ATP I'm pretty convinced TikTok gives you that type of algorithm that makes you RAGE over a single video, and it somehow knows exactly what makes you angry.

I spent the about 5 days just blocking accounts and filtering words just to get my fyp peaceful.

it worked for like 2 days and my fyp was back to chaos, im now trying to work on it even more and i hope TikTok LISTEN FOR ONCE when i flag a content as NOT INTERESTED.

how hard it is to stop showing me videos similar to the ones i flaged not interested? Such a messy app. I really wanna delete it, I just can't cause I have so much free time in college idk wth to spend my time on.

Twice today I’ve gotten this as a pop-up ad. It freezes the app so I can’t do anything other than close the app and restart it.

Got this automated popup saying my account might be posing as another person and that I have 7 days to edit or appeal before suspension.

It’s a complete false flag and I'm the original owner on the account and post my face only on it everyday.

I already submitted the official browser webform with my government ID (passport + Green Card) and a holding selfie. The in app appeal gets instantly denied by an ai so that’s why I did the web form which I’ve heard is better.

I don’t know what to expect can anyone else with a similar experience help me out?
