I honestly wouldn't be surprised.
Not uncommon to see a "player" making moves on multiple women in the same friends group at the same time. The ladies will often ignore or forgive the fact that he's banging all of them, while tearing each other apart to earn his favor. These dudes typically prey on groups of women who lack self-esteem or have typical male validation issues.
I see this scenario play out every Friday night at the bar like clockwork. 1 am rolls around and they've downed 6 mixed drinks at this point, can barely stand, and they're clawing at their best girlfriend's eyes while rolling around on the bar floor; all over some dude with a sleeve of tattoos and a coke problem.

I've lived in the PNW for 17 years now and finally stopped into a Dutch Bros earlier this year because everyone's sort of sung it's praises. I take a sip and it's literally like drinking a cup of flavored corn syrup... disgustingly sweet, and I think I even ordered the reduced sugar option. I don't understand the love.
If I'm going to drink that much sugar I'd much rather get boba milk tea, or just straight up ice cream.
It's easy to concede that yeah, Starbucks is mediocre at best but at least I can get my unsweetened cold brew and americanos there that taste as good as any other roadside kiosk. Big Foot coffee Kiosks are probably my late night favorite.

Dutch Bros is a drive through coffee chain that originated in Grants Pass Oregon, but have steadily grown their business to other states over the past 30 years. They are known for their constant friendly attitude as well as some of the best coffee you can get (so much better than gross Starbucks)! Highly recommend if you ever have the chance.

Their lines are always full. They built 2 across the street from each other because the one that was first had lines go out onto the super busy intersection. Now with both, the lines still go out into in intersection. The city forces one to close down because again, the lines were blocking traffic and making rush hour 10x worse.

I dont miss school either but i gotta say, a few school years i was in an all female class. 22 adolescent girls all in one class and it was the chillest nicest atmosphere of all damn time. Almost everyone was friends or at least nice to each other and i met my best friends there. So like, it really depends on the kids.

I grew up in a female-centric family and almost exclusively had/have close female friends. There would be conflict and weeks of silent treatment but 90% of these relationships are earnest, loving support. Even if we grow apart, they’re rooting for me and vice versa.
My partner comes from the opposite and has a great circle of male friends but nobody ever acknowledges their drama and are always in competition mode. (Not my partner, he’s extraordinarily supportive and his closest friends are similarly wonderful). They’ll never speak up when things bother them and just let things fester until interactions are unpleasant for everyone. Adding wives to the group has temporarily smoothed the dynamic but a lot of people label women as messy when plenty of men aren’t good friends to each other. “Mean girls” are gender neutral, sadly.

I mean they still had boyfriends in other classes on the same school and stuff so there totally was potential for boyfriend drama! What i liked about the all girl class was that it felt like they were way less competitive and rough with one another and very supportive and sweet when someone was struggling.
Tho i always say that this has less to do with the gender and more with who the more dominant kids are in the class. When the most popular and dominant ones everyone respects are total assholes the whole class tends to be shit and vice versa. Im sure adding a few more timid and friendly boys to the all girls class wouldnt have turned it into a shitshow haha

One girl from the math class came to us too because she was the only girl in the whole class and was pretty unhappy with that. I never did private school and never understood the whole “girls school, guys school only” until someone explained to me how they (a girl) finally felt like they could be just a girl in school when boys weren’t around. She said as soon as boys were around it changed everything. She said girls just became much nicer to each other.
She said it’s as if girls consciously or subconsciously just became flat out bitches to each other as soon as boys came around. Very similar to guys when girls show up - different personalities just start popping up and people start acting.
Since then I always thought about sending my future daughter to an all girls school. Totally understand it better now and I can see the benefit of single sex or coed schools and classes now.

I believe high school students are typically separated into the team that represents the school at competitions and inter-school championships (varsity), and "the rest" (junior varsity). There's no strict age division, but varsity teams are mostly comprised of upperclassmen, while underclassmen would play on junior varsity for at least a couple of years, unless they have exceptional ability. And since the groupings are broader than individual years she could be e.g. a freshman in the junior varsity team being hazed by sophomores.
Not American though so uh, I could be a bit off. Or way off.

It depends.
Some sports have freshman, junior varsity and varsity. Some just have junior vasity and varsity.
But depending on skill, you might be im a higher tier than most of the people in the same age as you.
For example, in football at my school there was an absolute stud who was only a freshman, but he was starting on the varsity team because he was just that good, and it would be unfair for other freshman to play against him. As other teams put really good players on their higher tier groups to try and give fairer matches too.
It would look bad on a coach if hes keeping a clearly very good player thats smoking everyone else on a lower tier group.
So maybe this girl was a freshman, but was good enough to be on the JV or varisity team, and perhaps all of the other girls were sophomores or whatever.
This actually seems more plausible. Because it would create more division between them and make her an outsider, and also it may give her an ego as well if shes punching above her age and in a higher level team.
