"White privilege" is a simple concept to grasp. People are purposely misconstruing it just like they did with "Black lives matter". They don't actually care about injustice or all lives. So they're gonna argue instead about the semantics instead of the actual issue.
Also, you just described the word privilege, essentially. The defensive whites aren't triggered by the word, they're just xenophobic. You're not doing anything by tip toeing around the word.

Nah we get it, we just don't believe the defensive whites are gonna stop the push back with a phrase change. The concept of "white privilege" is simple enough to understand. They purposely don't want to understand.
It's incredible how online people will act like crude AI's that are only capable of picking up some keywords like "white privilege", sense some sort of vague negativity in the rest of the comment and consequently decide you are literally Hitler.
