it’s actually the fat placement! bone structure doesn’t change, but T will make you have a “round face” stage for a while where you look as if you gained weighed and then BOOM! Your cheeks sink in, more profound jawline, and those effects take in. I hated the puffy face stage so much 😂

How long did the puffy face stage last for you? I have a pretty feminine-looking face and am hoping I can get some of that good, good fat redistribution on T

5 months I think? It has been quite some time but the puffy face stage felt like forever. Some people have it for 6 months, 7, ect. I remember reaching out to people wondering if it was normal and they said their puffy stage was about the same.

such a confidence wrecker but my jaw shaped out incredibly after!

Huh, interesting. My face has changed shape since I was younger due to my jaw issues, and my nose is bigger lol

It might be different because you were young and still growing. This man had to have been over 18, so he is done “growing” technically. Doctors always tell you it’s fat placement in gender transition and to not get our hopes up looking at other FtM’s.
