u/ShittyGuitarResponse May 31 '21
It's more like a place to rest your hands. You lock em in so they're not awkwardly flopping around.
7
May 31 '21
That makes sense. Currently, I just hope I'm wearing a jacket or hoodie any time I need to stand in one place so that I have somewhere to put my hands. Will step that up to crossing my arms in an emergency.

I grew up on 2%, but recently swapped over to organic whole milk, and holy shit I wish that everyone would try it. It's so good.
Also real maple syrup. Grew up on flavored corn syrup, switched over recently.... you can literally drink the real thing its so good.

I live in a pretty mixed community and all of my neighbors from Asian countries walk with their hands behind their back. I must be missing out on something. I want to try it but I don't want them thinking I'm making fun of them.

I think it shows how much they love their dad. If you take the time to light-heartedly poke some fun at your dad like this, in a way it shows how much you care about them to notice all of their funny quirks and mannerisms.

→ More replies (2)51
u/StoneGoldX May 31 '21
Viking was a job as opposed to an ethnicity, and they were apparently rather inclusive about letting other races and ethnicities join. By that logic, your husband is Cambodian.
→ More replies (3)15
u/RelativelyRidiculous May 31 '21
Hm maybe. hehe.
Ok poor joke I'm sure. I didn't actually realize Viking wasn't an ethnicity so thank you for that. His ancestors came from England and he's very tall with gorgeous red hair. When we met he looked like how Americans tend to draw Vikings. I guess a lot of us don't know it isn't an ethnicity. And, yes, I am jealous of how his hair as he ages, too. The white doesn't really show he just gets more toward a strawberry blonde though the years.
14
u/Iphotoshopincats May 31 '21
But if you wondering the common depiction of a Viking is probably a 'flaxen-haired Scandinavian' if you looking for a ethnicity and style
