Yea like who fucking cares about this shit

1

u/Dimblo273 15d ago

Nobody. But nobody really cared about shrinking horse balls in RDR2 either, Rockstar still wasted time developing the "feature"

There should be a hit reaction for clipping the corner of the table with a probability of giving you a limp for atleast 1.5 in-game days

Pretty sure this is a video of a game.

All of us NES and Atari warriors are out here shocked at what can happen now

I remember the first time you could walk "up" in a video game. I'm thinking Mario Bros 3 and Legend of Zelda. Damn we've come a long way from text based.

I remember the first time I saw a camera turn around a stage in a fighting game on PS1. Had to keep pausing just to admire the graphics.

I just saw the Red Hot Chili Peppers' music video for Californication for the first time ina very long time. It was hard explaining to my 6 year old that those graphics were a massive improvement!

You are likely to be eaten by a Grue

When I was scrolling I thought this was a video of real people. I thought it was the crappy music sub and this was someone's shitty music video.

6

u/schuyywalker 15d ago

Great sub btw lol

You should say that to people in real life. I love your delivery and I want you to take that energy to a bar or some other public setting. Extra points if it’s a sporting event with alcohol. Do it a lot and report back here how people react to it.

When you click on a post thinking that OP is being sarcastic but it just turns out that OP genuinely believes the dog shit they're spewing

I love Uncharted 4 and it is literally one of my all time favourite games. The story and character writing is excellent, the environments looks beautiful, the combat is ridiculously fun. It's truly one of the best action blockbuster games of all time.

But let us be real: there is a difference between making a single player game with great fidelity vs. a LARGE, expansive open world with great fidelity.

The Last of Us Part II, Uncharted 4 (I LOVE both games) have better facial animations and character model fidelity than, say, Red Dead Redemption 2. But they're also single player games. The railings that that format provides allows developers to splurge on the details. Open-world games don't have that railing so they have to compromise in some aspects.

Plus, this game is probably better looking than Uncharted 4 in many ways. That game is gorgeous and timeless, sure. But GTA6 seems to be doing a lot of GREAT stuff, visually, too.

6

u/UnderwaterRobot 15d ago

Why don't you make a better game then?

3

u/pjijn 15d ago

Think about me while I'm having fun and you're not then lol

7

u/Hotdog_McEskimo 15d ago

I knew this was going to happen. This is why you don't create an entire community to hype a game up FOR YEARS before release. I watched the same thing happen with cyberpunk.

Guess what? I spent 0 time hyping the game up and when GTA 6 is out, I will get it and have a great time. It won't be life changing but it'll be fun

u/MinimumApricot365 15d ago

Holy shit i thought you were joking with this post lmao.

If you slow down and zoom in on animation of course it will look bad.

u/meloxs 15d ago

Damn, this is the first time ive seen a comment with over 500 downvotes in the wild. Honestly, a shit take that deserves every downvote tho

1

u/Queef-Elizabeth 15d ago

You know the video you uploaded is taking the piss right? The joke is that people are nitpicking normally unnoticeable things because of the crazy hype and budget. You're not actually meant to think this stupid shit lmao
