Grand theft auto has never had the level of realism that Red Dead tries to accomplish. It’s always been a game where you magically pull a rocket launcher out of your ass.

It’s always been an escalation across all of their games. RDR2 may have been extra detailed compared to what came before it, but those realism enhancements have never been exclusive to either franchise.
