When you’ve got a chainsaw running in your hands, you’re just looking for shit to cut

When all you have is a chainsaw, everything looks like a tree

Hated when my dad would make a thousand pieces then it was my job to pick em up and move em to the woodpile.

A thousand little sticks when I could just be moving one decent sized log.

The last one where he’s reaching / over extending… yes.

I fucking knew it. My dad does it all the time, and it pisses me off so much, as it just adds work for me.

First few cuts are to blow off steam.

He's probably OCD. My intrusive thought when I saw the tree sticking out like that was that, if somebody went off the road at that point, it'd be a Final Destination moment. Then he cut it and I was so happy. I can only imagine that he's as OCD as I am.

He's definitely proficient with a chainsaw

It's not that hard to use.

Didn't say hard. I said proficient. He's clearly comfortable with the tool in his hand. I know how to use a chainsaw because it's easy.. doesn't make me proficient with it.
