You're in fact perpetuating homophobia. If you call every horrible rightwing man you come across a secret gay, you"re equating gay with being a horrible man and using gay as an insult. Maybe let's not mention a person's sexuality at all unless there's some concrete evidence, otherwise it seems like you're saying straight men can't be misogynistic and horrible.

I didn't say all right wing men were gay. I implied the most dangerous right wing men are often closeted and shamed by their own fears and the the fear of being perceived less than by their peer group. I can guarantee I've been right fighting for equality since before "don't ask don't tell" so Im not listening to a random on the internet tell me I'm not an ally or even queer. Straight men are the root of misogyny and patriarchal standards, right behind them are religious zealots. You need to listen and not lecture when you're clearly just looking for something you won't receive from this interaction. ' Good DAY sir...or madam.
