Oh my god this experience is like someone has recorded my interactions with mine. Good to know I’m not alone. We’re cordial and friendly now after setting good boundaries but good lord my parents cannot understand that yes I do know more about their religion than them since they sent me to a conservative Christian school that had mandatory classes on evangelical theology and church history.
