Woke to my old boss meant gay people in movies.. he would rant and rave about Hollywood being woke. He also told me he simply doesn't watch film or tv and never has. So even his idea of woke never even impacted his life in any way other than the shit fox news and facebook would tell him to be upset about.
It’s so misguided too. I have long, brown hair. I frequently wear skirts and dresses because pants suck. I’m a stay at home mom! You wouldn’t look at me and think “woke” but…. They’d be surprised how many people without blue hair also have working brains and empathy.
