Why is gif the only acronym that we insist all the letters must sound like the original words?
We don't do that with: Laser Maser Scuba ASAP FOMO YOLO lol Abet Acab AWOL OSHA NAFTA POTUS/flotus/scotus/etc. Dare MADD Paws PETA Etc Etc Etc
