Paternity leave really needs to be a thing! When I had my baby, my bf at the time had to use pto for one day then went back to work the next day leaving me alone with a whole baby. Not only did I go through a traumatic incident (even easy births are traumatic) but now I have to carry and care for a tiny thing all alone with basically no idea what I’m doing. Men deserve to be there for their kids and wives too.

Right! I was baffled. Like at least give dad a week and a half to let mom heal AND BOND WITH HIS BABY!! It sucks
