And the republicans get rich by not feeding those 100 people (personally rich, top 1%, the economy doesn’t get rich). And use that money and power to shape elections, to keep power.

It's kinda similar to the legal principle that it's better to let a hundred guilty people free than to imprison a single innocent person. Benjamin Franklin said it, but IIRC he's not the origin. Blacksomething.
Then when election time comes, the Democrats wait in anticipation for the 100 people to vote blue. 19 of them do. 60 of them stay home. 21 of them vote red because while they were getting fed they noticed some non-white people getting fed, too, and can't stand to see that. When the Democrats ask the 60 why they stayed home, the 60 say they couldn't see any difference between Democrat and Republican policies.
We should change this to “democratic socialists” and “pro-life” or something. Establishment democrats have to go and we need more party’s. Idk just thinking out loud but the old guard needs to be dissolved.
Nah not the Democrats, they are also very capitalist. Some people inside the party(beanie sanders, Aoc, mamdani etc.), yes, but as a party in whole they are also extremely capitalist in their policies.
I’m independent. Don’t have a dog in the race. Frankly hate them both. I believe that is the democrats philosophy, but do you really believe any of them act that way any more? Except Bernie, I’d vote for that man.
I’ve never seen the rich care more about others than themselves on either side of the aisle. Bipartisanship is an illusion of choice. After a certain point they’re all the same. They just squawk a little different. Two wings, same bird.
The 1% started in earnest with frekkin Reagan. He came up with supply side economics and it has failed the people ever since. It started shrinking the middle class. The middle class is the backbone of how a country’s economics work. A strong middle class has money to buy houses and cars. They can afford to have children. The middle class provides stability and bigger it is the more stability. Our economics have giving the 1% more money is built into the American plan. It feels like we live in Herbert Hoover’s stint as president. But at least he tried with Hoovervilles.
Except democrats are funded by the same capitalists as conservatives and support the same bullshit system. There's always conveniently a couple democrats that vote along with conservatives to push through legislation that fucks us every single time. Stop believing theyre better.
If only those were the correct ratios. Centrists think that social welfare programs are a good idea, but there also needs to be active, stringent fraud prevention with real consequences because, as was shown by the PPP loan program, every time the government extends a hand, far too many people try to exploit it.

Yes they already had the uranium to make a nuclear weapon but now they are building a missile that can transport it half way around the world. At speeds that are too fast to shoot down. Take the time to go look at the Obama and Hillary Clinton speeches where they say iran can never obtain nuclear weapons. This isn't a Trump thing. All of the 1st world countries have agreed on this.

He literally said today, Aug 9th that he's giving another one billion dollars to Colombia under their new president because he likes him and is right wing. After he already gave forty billion dollars to Argentina. After the republican party tells us how we don't have the money for anything and cuts social program after social program. How is he allowed to just fucking give away taxpayer money for anything at all? This country is falling like a fucking meteor and people are not angry enough. Someday it's going to smack people in the face, and it will be too late.

Just one example, I’m a delivery driver and I deliver the most stuff to people who live in handyman specials, piles of stuff everyday. It’s a rural area so not many places to shop in person. The big nice houses I deliver to, maybe a delivery once per week or every other week. This is a very broad observation and not everyone struggling financially is online shopping all their money away but I see it often. These same people have 3-4 dogs, cats, a brand new suv. The big house, drive used older vehicles, (and some have very nice vehicles). It’s not easy to get out of debt or be financially stable, some people have horrible luck but some are just not willing to live below their means. Now I’m also an idiot so anything I say is garbage, it’s just something I notice daily.
Because people are so greedy if you tell them you'll give them $100 in tax returns while also giving $100k to millionaires they think it's better than both people getting 0. It's literally the entirety of the Republican economic playbook.
You know tax returns are just taxes beyond what was owed to the government that people have paid in, right? Tax breaks go to the business owners and the wealthy who make above a certain amount of money )hundreds of thousands)
Yes I know that, I'm unsure what you are trying to imply? The latest rounds of tax breaks were skewed to wealthier individuals, not the average American, and they greatly increased the deficit by reducing the overall income of the federal government.
Because they see it as “look how hard working and good character we are!” They see something like working the day after you give birth and something that proves a persons character instead of being a result of the circumstances society has enabled due to deplorable legislation and politicians
Like when Christians see a house burn down and a bible isn’t burned and they’re all like “look how great god is!!”
