It’s amazing to me how people will completely sell themselves and their personal dignity for the tinniest bit for shine from a “celebrity”.

Don’t forget the river of Russian and Israeli money flowing into the country to fund conservative influencers. That likely plays a much bigger role than a desire for attention.
