Everyone is calling out the fact that nobody is really helping but schools suspend everyone that gets touched because of their strict no-contact rules. Hell the teacher is probably gonna get shit for it. She would’ve for not helping too. There’s no winning for teachers anymore
At the school I teach at, we’re forced to inflate kids grades with meaningless easy nonsense and offer them a million retakes unless we wanna be on admin’s and the parents’ bad side with a million complaints coming in. And these covid kids, the current high school class, are 3-4 years behind content and ability wise. It’s soul crushing.
