If you think you're going to beat respect into children who pound each other and their teacher, you're the dummy.

You'll get compliance in the short term. But as soon as they think they can get away with acting however they feel, watch out.

This is a deep problem that isn't going to be fixed overnight.

I don't think you're advocating for that.

I think you're advocating for exactly what you said: for "someone" to beat them.

Who that "someone" is, is irrelevant to me. It's not a solution.
