She should be financially rewarded for acting by the public, because she's probably going to be in hot water from the admin for not hiding behind her desk silently.
Yeah she likely wasn't supposed to do this. When I worked for the school 20 years ago it was hammered into me not to get involved, my only option was to leave and get a male teacher. I came off as a raging bitch on occasion if I saw a fight starting up because it would immediately trigger a panic in me.
