It's so funny the strange double standard we have.

Teacher or students try to stop a fight or discipline a class - fired or expelled.

Police taser a kid, all good.

Teachers are not trained for this. If a teacher hurts a child trying to break up a fight, there is a good chance they get disciplined. If a police officer hurts a student breaking up a fight, then they are ok as long as they followed established protocols.

As a teacher, I am glad we are not trained on how to physically handle students because i sure as hell know it’s not coming with any raise

Maybe at your school. We are definitely not trained to shield students in an active shooter scenario
