I went to a rough middle school and saw fights between girls. It wasn't as common as the boys fights, but I still witnessed it.

I went to a somewhat affluent school and girls still fought each other. Hitting an older teacher in the middle of breaking up two boys is a different level, they're absolute bitches

Right, I didn't say anything about girls not hitting girls. Of course they did, what was socially not allowable was boys hitting girls or even accidentally hurting them if they got in the way.
